Gudbranson (lower-body) will return to the Panthers lineup on Thursday.

Gudbranson has missed the last seven games with a lower-body injury, but will return tonight vs. the Devils. With Gudbranson back, Alex Petrovic will be a healthy scratch. Gudbranson has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 61 games this season.

Gaudreau (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Gaudreau has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, but will be a game-time decision in Los Angeles. “I would love to play, but it’s up to the docs, up to the coaches, to see if I’m 100%.” Monitor Gaudreau’s status when the Flames hit the ice for warmups at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Monahan (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Monahan missed Tuesday’s practice, but was on the ice for Wednesday’s morning skate and still remains questionable for tonight’s game vs. the Jets. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups at 9:30 p.m. ET. If Monahan can’t play, Freddie Hamilton will make his Flames debut.

van Riemsdyk (foot) has suffered a setback and is likely done for the season.

van Riemsdyk was expected to miss 6-8 weeks and today would mark exactly six weeks, but his foot has not healed like the Maple Leafs expected, so he will be shut down for the rest of the season. With the Maple Leafs tearing the team apart and with nothing to play for, there’s no point in risking JVR getting hurt even more.

The Panthers have activated Erik Gudbranson (upper-body) from IR; will play on Thursday.

Gudbranson has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury, but he will return tonight vs. the Coyotes. Gudbranson has just six points (1G / 5A) in 51 games this season, but is second on the team in hits (127) and fourth in blocked shots (58).
