He is considered week-to-week as he deals with an upper-body injury but is expected to return before the end of the season.

Snively has a goal, two assists, 13 SOG, and a +1 plus/minus through nine games played but will be the odd man out of the Capitals' lineup Wednesday vs. Buffalo. The 27-year-old is replaced by a healthy Alex Ovechkin (lower body) in Washington's lineup.

Alex Lyon has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL).

Lyon is 3-2-1 with a 3.89 GAA and .892 SV% and has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL) Wednesday so that he can see some game action instead of backing up in Florida. He returns to the minors, where he was 11-9-1 with a .906 SV% and 2.62 GAA.

Joe Snively has been recalled from Hershey (AHL).

Snively had seven goals, 16 points, four PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 20 games with Hershey (AHL) and has been recalled to Washington Tuesday with the news of Sony Milano's injury. The 27-year-old returns to the Capitals, where he had a goal and two assists across eight games earlier in the season in his previous call-up.

Fischer left the Coyotes' previous game vs. Colorado after just 5:32 TOI due to a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day with a chance to play Tuesday. The 25-year-old has 11 goals, 13 assists, 104 SOG, 18 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 65 games played.

Cam Talbot will be out for three weeks with a mid-body injury.

Talbot was a late scratch for the Senators' game Monday night and is now expected to miss three weeks due to a "mid-body" injury. The 35-year-old veteran netminder has struggled at times in his first season in Ottawa, as he has a 15-14-1 record, 2.85 GAA and .905 SV%.

Talbot stopped 19 of 21 shots (.905 SV%) for his third-straight victory as he beat Columbus in his previous start. The 35-year-old has had an up-and-down first season in the Nation's Capital, with his 15-14-1 record, 2.85 GAA and .905 SV%. He will face the Chicago Blackhawks, who unloaded their roster at the trade deadline, and have lost four-straight games in the meantime.
