Patrick Kane has been placed on the injured reserve (lower body).

Kanee was placed on the injured reserve Wednesday but is eligible and expected to still play Saturday when Chicago takes on Seattle. Kane has missed the Blackhawks' previous two games and will not return to the lineup Thursday vs. Colorado as he deals with a lower-body injury. The 34-year-old has not produced like his usual self this season, with seven goals, 20 assists, 100 SOG and a -24 plus/minus.

Campbell allowed two goals on 13 shots (.846 SV%) to take the rare, relief appearance loss in his last start as he was defeated by Los Angeles. The 31-year-old continues to struggle as we get to the mid wait point of the season, with his 9-8-1 record, 3.68 GAA and .877 SV%. He will hope for some better fortunes against the Anaheim Ducks, who lost their previous game 7-1 vs. Boston and are 31st in the NHL in goals per game (2.27).

Alex Lyon will draw back into the Panthers' lineup and backup Sergei Bobrovsky Tuesday.

Lyon was 9-8-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .909 SV% with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and will dress for the Florida Panthers as their backup netminder Tuesday as a replacement for the injured Spencer Knight (undisclosed).

Talbot allowed five goals on 19 shots (.737 SV%) and was pulled after just two periods of action in his previous start, picking up his second straight loss in a defeat to Seattle. The 35-year-old has struggled in his first season in Ottawa, with a 10-10-1 record, 2.89 GAA and .906 SV%. He takes on the Nashville Predators, who are on a bit of a hot streak, winning three straight and four of their last five games.
