Copp missed Tuesday's game vs. the Golden Knights but will play Friday vs. the Bruins. Copp, who has scored 13 goals with 19 assists (32 points) in 54 games this season, will be back on the third line with Adam Lowry and Evgeny Svechnikov.
The Canadiens will retain 50% of Chiarot's salary for the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Chiarot was in his third season with the Canadiens and has scored seven goals with 11 assists (18 points) in 54 games this season. He's in the final year of a three-year deal with a $3.5M AAV cap-hit and will be a UFA this summer.
The 26-year-old forward was an undrafted free agent out of Yale University and made it to the NHL this year after two and a half AHL seasons. Snively has four goals and three assists (seven points) in 12 games with the Capitals this season.
The Red Wings selected Hanas in the second-round in the 2020 NHL Draft and the 20-year-old is leading the Portland Winterhawks (WHL) with 70 points (22G / 48A) in 53 games this season.
Copp was banged up late in Sunday's game in St. Louis and was not on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate. Copp will be a game-time decision and will be replaced by Adam Brooks if he's unable to go.
Chiarot will sit out on Tuesday for precautionary reasons. The Canadiens are expected to trade Chiarot before next Monday's trade deadline, so he'll sit vs. the Coyotes. Joel Edmundson will be back in the lineup to replace Chiarot.
Fischer is questionable to play Saturday in Boston due to an upper-body injury. If he's unable to play, Hudson Fasching will draw into the lineup for the first time since November 30th.
The Ducks will be without Ryan Getzlaf, Isac Lundestrom and Jakob Silfverberg on Thursday, so O'Regan, Vinni Lettieri and Buddy Robinson were called up from the AHL. O'Regan has played in just one game with the Ducks this season, spending most of the year in San Diego, where he has 11 goals and 15 assists (26 points) in 37 games.
Campbell has struggled mightily since the start of January, going 7-4-2 with an .872 SV% in his last 15 games. With Campbell out, Erik Källgren was recalled from the AHL and will serve as Petr Mrazek's backup on Thursday. Mrazek will start the majority of the games while Campbell is sidelined.
Petry was wearing a non-contact jersey at Monday's practice and is considered day-to-day. Petry must have picked up the upper-body injury in Edmonton on Saturday and is questionable to play Wednesday in Vancouver. Corey Schueneman will likely replace him if he can't go.
