





On the tail end of a back-to-back, a night after losing 4-2 to the Dallas Stars, the Senators will turn to Forsberg between the pipes on Friday against the St. Louis Blues. Forsberg has not played since December 8th, missing time due to a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old Forsberg has been inconsistent in limited action this season, posting a mediocre 2.95 GAA and .889 SV% despite recording two shutouts in 11 appearances (4-6-0). The Senators enter Friday's contest as +100 road underdogs against a St. Louis Blues club coming off a 6-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Forsberg will serve as the backup to Leevi Merilainen on Thursday against the Dallas Stars after being sidelined for the past three weeks. Mads Sogaard was loaned to the Belleville Senators (AHL) to accommodate Forsberg's return.

Kuemper has two wins in his last four games despite posting a save percentage above .900 once through those four starts. He will look to remain in the win column on Wednesday as he hosts Jake Allen and the New Jersey Devils. The 34-year-old Kuemper was acquired from Washington in the offseason and has excelled in his first campaign in Los Angeles with his 9-2-5 record, 2.43 GAA and .910 SV%. Kuemper's opponent, New Jersey is on the back end of a back-to-back and is looking to snap their current two-game losing skid despite being second in the Metropolitan Division.

Walker Duehr will draw into the lineup on Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks, sending Kuzmenko to the press box as a healthy scratch. Kuzmenko has struggled to produce this season, scoring only 10 points (1G / 9A) in 29 games this season. He has only one point (0G / 1A) in his last 13 games.






Lee made his NHL debut this season, scoring two points (0G / 2A) in 17 games with the Kings. The 24-year-old has spent most of the previous three seasons in the AHL with the Ontario Reign, including scoring two points (1G / 1A) in four games this season.

The Linus Ullmark (upper body) also sidelined from Friday's practice, Ottawa has recalled Mads Sogaard and Leevi Merilainen from Belleville (AHL). The 32-year-old Forsberg has a 2.95 GAA and .889 SV% in 11 games this season (4-6-0).




The Kings will turn to Kuemper between the pipes for a third straight game on Thursday when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers. Kuemper allowed three goals on 31 shots (.903 SV%) in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, his first time allowing more than one goal in his four games since returning to the lineup two weeks ago (3-0-1). The Kings enter Thursday's contest as -155 road favorites against a Flyers club outscored 10-5 during a two-game losing skid (0-2-0).
