Edler (face) was taken to hospital for X-rays after being stretchered off of the ice on Monday.

Edler took an awkward fall, face-first onto the ice in Philadelphia on Monday and will remain in a Philadelphia area hospital while the Canucks travel to Washington. It was a scary fall and will likely result in Edler missing a fair amount of time. Look for Alex Biega to replace Edler in the lineup on Tuesday.
