Lewis was banged up on a hit by Jared McCann last night and is questionable for tonight’s game. Head coach John Stevens said he though Lewis was going to be OK, but he is still questionable for Saturday.
Rittich allowed one goal on four shots after replacing Mike Smith in the Flames loss to the Lightning last Thursday. Rittich has not seen a lot of action this season, but has played very well. In six starts and two relief appearance, Rittich has gone 4-1-2 with a 2.23 GAA and .926 SV%. He makes for an interesting spot-start on a busy nine-game night.

Kuemper has played very well as of late, winning each of his last three games while stopping 85 go 86 shots (.988 SV%). Fiala’s starts for Wednesday’s game in Toronto is in question after he missed the morning skate. Fiala has registered two goals in each of his last two games but he might not be available tonight. Predators head coach Peter Laviolette said there “nothing to report” regarding Fiala’s status, so consider him a game-time decision.

The Flames have a back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday so look for Rittich to start the front-end tonight vs. the Kings. Rittich is 3-0-1 with a 1.71 GAA and .946 SV%. He is an interesting spot-start option for fantasy owners in need.
Kuemper allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Kings loss to the Sharks on Monday. With Jonathan Quick struggling, it’s no surprise to see Kuemper go tonight in Anaheim. he has not played a lot this season, but has been really good when called upon. He comes into tonight at 2-0-2 with a 2.03 GAA and .940 SV% in six road appearances.
This is far from surprising considering Danault was hospitalized after getting hit in the head by a Zdeno Chara slapshot on Saturday. With Danault out, Daniel Carr will draw into the Canadiens lineup vs. the Islanders.
Danault had to be stretchered off of the ice on Saturday after taking a Zdeno Chara slapshot in the head. It was a scary scene on the Bell Centre ice, but he was released from the hospital yesterday, but still it is highly unlikely he will be available for tonight’s game vs. the Islanders.
