Gallagher (head) is set to return to the lineup on Thursday.

Gallagher missed four games before returning from a concussion on January 9th but suffered a setback and missed the next six games. Gallagher was back on the top line in the last two practices and is set to play Thursday in Buffalo. He has scored 15 goals with 17 assists (32 points) in 41 games this season.

Price surrendered four goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens' win over the Golden Knights on January 18th. Price has won four in a row while stopping 142 of the 148 shots (.959 SV%) that he has faced. Carey Price
Price will start Saturday vs. the Golden Knights.

Price stopped 40 of 41 shots in the Canadiens win in Philadelphia on Thursday. Price has gone through his struggles this season but is red-hot coming into Saturday's game vs. the Golden Knights. Carey Price
Price will start Thursday in Philadelphia.

Price stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Canadiens shutout win over the Flames on Monday. After an ugly six-game losing streak, Price has won two straight while stopping 72 of the last 73 shots (.986 SV%) that he's faced. The Flyers are terrific on home ice but are also on the tail-end of a back-to-back with an inexperienced netminder in the other crease.

Armia (upper-body) not expected to play Wednesday; but is nearing a return.

Armia has been out since December 23rd but was a full participant in Tuesday's practice and head coach Claude Julien said he's close to returning. Julien added that he's "very doubtful" for Wednesday which makes him at least questionable for Thursday's game in Philadelphia.

Joel Armia

Gallagher (upper-body) will not play on Saturday.

Gallagher returned from a concussion on Thursday but missed Friday's practice with headaches. Gallagher was scheduled to undergo testing to determine whether or not the headaches were concussion-related or something else, but that hasn't been determined yet. The team elected to leave him back in Montreal for precautionary reasons as they travelled to Ottawa.

Price will start Thursday vs. the Oilers.

Price surrendered three goals on 27 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Jets on Monday. Charlie Lindgren started Tuesday in Detroit, so they'll come back to Price tonight vs. Edmonton. He's on a five-game losing streak (0-4-1), posting a 3.89 GAA and .874 SV% since Christmas and could have a tough time with Connor McDavid in town. The Canadiens have placed Brendan Gallagher on IR with a concussion.

The Canadiens confirmed that Gallagher suffered a concussion on Tuesday and will be out indefinitely. This is obviously a huge blow for Montreal, who lost part of their dominant top-line. Gallagher is second on the team in goals (15) and points (32) in 40 games this season.
