Meier has been suspended for one game for cross-checking Nashville’s Zachary L'Heureux.

Meier was issued a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct late in the third period after an illegal cross-check on Zachary L'Heureux of the Nashville Predators. After a hearing with NHL Player Safety, Meier was issued a one-game suspension.
