Markstrom will return to the crease for the ninth time in the last 10 games when the Flames face off against the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Markstrom has allowed three or fewer goals in six of his last seven games (5-2-0) and saved 28 of 31 shots (.903 SV%) on Monday, a 6-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The Flames enter action as +110 home underdogs.

Jordan Harris will return to the lineup from an upper-body injury, sending Kovacevic to the press box as a healthy scratch. Kovacevic has played nine straight games for the Canadiens, registering one goal, 18 penalty minutes, eight shots, and 14 hits.

Palat is dealing with an apparent bug and but will be good to go after all for Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings. Palat has been quietly productive lately, scoring six points (3G / 3A) in his last six games.
