Haula (knee) is expected to return to the Hurricanes lineup on Saturday.

Haula has missed the last 15 games with a knee injury but is expected to centre the third line on Saturday. Haula, who has eight goals and three assists (11 points) in 16 games, will skate with Ryan Dzingel and Martin Necas at even strength and should see PP2 time as well.

Markstrom posted an impressive 43-save shutout last Thursday but has since lost three in a row while allowing a combined 10 goals on 94 shots (.894 SV%). The Sharks have claimed Stefan Noesen off of waivers from the Penguins.

He appeared in just six games with Pittsburgh before being waived on Wednesday. He was claimed by the Sharks, in an attempt to boost their fourth line. He has 46 points (25G / 21A) in 165 career NHL games with the Ducks, Devils and Penguins.

Allen allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Blues loss in Buffalo last Tuesday. Jordan Binnington started the last three games but Allen will get a shot at the Oilers on Wednesday night. The 29-year-old stopped 32 of 34 shots in a 5-2 win in his only start against the Oilers in 2019-20.

Bernier led the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Bernier stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Red Wings' win in Montreal on Saturday. Bernier was absolutely brilliant and earned back-to-back wins for the first time since November 10th/12th. As scary as it might be to start the Red Wings goalie right now, the matchup looks OK. Columbus has lost seven of their last eight road games (1-4-3) while scoring just 2.00 goals per game and they played last night, so the struggling Elvis Merzlikins will be between the pipes for them.
