Markstrom will start Tuesday in Dallas.

Markstrom surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Canucks loss to the Stars last Thursday. Markstrom and Thatcher Demko have been alternating starts lately and tonight is Markstrom's turn in the crease. He has lost five consecutive outings (0-3-2) while posting a 2.60 GAA and .912 SV%. He'll be in tough against a Stars team that has won three in a row and seven of their last eight (7-0-1) while averaging 3.75 goals per game.

Bernier will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Bernier surrendered three goals on 31 shots in the Red Wings' overtime loss in Los Angeles last Thursday. He appeared to be well on his way to a fourth-straight win but a late collapse led to a 3-2 loss. Bernier has taken over as the Red Wings' No.1 by going 3-0-1 with a 2.49 GAA and .905 SV% in his last four outings. He allowed four goals on 37 shots in a 5-2 loss in his first game vs. Ottawa.

Allen will start Friday in Columbus.

Allen allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blues win in Edmonton on November 6th. Allen doesn’t get a lot of playing time but has played well as of late, winning two in a row while stopping 52 of the 57 shots (.912 SV%) that he faced. He draws a pretty nice spot-start matchup on Friday—the Blue Jackets have lost three straight while scoring just two goals in their last three home games.

The Devils have recalled Colton White from Binghamton (AHL).

White was a fourth-round pick in 2015 and appeared in three NHL games with the Devils last season. The 22-year-old defenseman, who has three assists in 15 AHL games this season, could make his season debut on Friday night. Sami Vatanen (upper-body) was moved to IR to make room for White.

Bernier will start Thursday in Los Angeles.

Bernier allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Red Wings win in Anaheim on Tuesday. Bernier has won three straight while stopping 67 of the 74 shots (.905 SV%). Bernier has a chance to make it four straight vs. The team that drafted him--they rank fifth-worst in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.56 GF/gm).

Haula (knee) will return to the Hurricanes lineup on Thursday.

Haula missed the last four games but will draw back into the lineup in Buffalo. Lucas Wallmark and the third line played well while Haula was out, so he will return on the fourth line with Brian Gibbons and Brock McGinn. Haula has eight goals and three assists (11 points) in 14 games this season.

The Sabres have recalled Curtis Lazar from Rochester (AHL).

With Vladimir Sobotka out for at least four weeks, Lazar makes his return to the NHL. The 24-year-old currently ranks second on the Americans (AHL) in points, picking up four goals and five assists (nine points) in 11 games. He has not suited up for Buffalo yet but comes up with 51 points (15G / 36A) in 246 career NHL games.
