Markstrom will start Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Markstrom stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Canucks’ shutout win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Markstrom has won two in a row while turning aside 65 of the 66 shots (.985 SV%) that he has faced. In his first start against the Flyers, Markstrom stopped 36 of 38 shots in a 5-2 win back in late-November.

Markstrom made 35 saves on 36 shots in the Canucks win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Markstrom has just two wins in his last seven starts and has allowed at least three goals in five of those games. Tonight the Canucks host the Hurricanes and Markstrom comes in at 3-5-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .919 SV5% on home-ice this season.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Canucks loss in New Jersey on Friday. Markstrom has now lost four of his last five starts while allowing a combined 16 goals on 157 shots (.898 SV%). Markstrom is 4-3-0 with a 2.57 GAA and .910 SV% in seven starts and a relief appearance on the road this season.

Bernier will make his fourth consecutive start on Saturday.

Bernier allowed two goals on 27 shots in Colorado’s shootout loss in Minnesota on Friday. With Semyon Varlamov still sick, Bernier will draw another start tonight vs. Calgary. Bernier is 2-0-1 with a 1.61 GAA, .937 SV% and one shutout in his previous three outings.

Bernier will start Wednesday vs. the Stars.

Bernier allowed three goals on 24 shots in Colorado’s overtime win in Detroit on Sunday. With Semyon Varlamov battling an illness, Bernier will go again tonight vs. the Stars. In seven starts this season, the 29-year-old has gone 3-4-0 with a 3.59 GAA and .886 SV%, so you might want to look elsewhere tonight.

Markstrom will start Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Markstrom allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Canucks’ loss to Vegas on Thursday. Anders Nilsson has started two of the last three games, but Markstrom will start the front-end of their Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back tonight in Philadelphia. Markstrom is on a three-game losing streak, having allowed a combined 11 goals on 93 shots (.882 SV%).

Markstrom allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Canucks loss in San Jose last Saturday. Anders Nilsson started and got the win on Tuesday, but they’ll still go back to Markstrom tonight vs. Vegas. The Golden Knights have struggled on the road this season, making Markstrom one of the better options on tonight’s big slate.

Bernier will start vs. the Senators in Sweden on Saturday.

Bernier surrendered six goals on 28 shots in Colorado’s 6-4 loss in Brooklyn last Sunday. With Semyon Varlamov starting yesterday and not playing very well, Bernier will go this afternoon in the second game in Sweden. Bernier has started five games so far this season, going 2-3-0 with a 3.63 GAA and .884 SV%.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Canucks win in Calgary on Tuesday. Markstrom has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .928 SV% in four November starts and heads into Anaheim at 3-0-0 with a 2.10 GAA and .914 SV% on the road so far this season. He makes for a decent start against a banged up Anaheim team.
