Now he gets the Senators at home with their third-string goalie in net, so don't hesitate to start him tonight. He is 6-1-2 with a 2.40 GAA, .916 SV% and one shutout at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Tonight he faces a Sabres team that has lost five of their last six on home ice, averaging just 2.33 goals per game during that stretch.

The 31-year-old is 3-0-1 with a 1.72 GAA, .940 SV% and one shutout in four road starts this season and has a solid matchup in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The Kings are 7-5-1 while averaging 3.08 games at the STAPLES Center this season.

With Drake Caggiula going on IR, Highmore gets his first call-up of the season. The 23-year-old forward has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 17 AHL games this season and had two goals in 13 games with the Blackhawks last year.



Andreoff appeared in six games while he was with the Flyers and tallied one assist and fired eight shots on net. His return to the AHL opens up a roster spot for Scott Laughton (finger) to be activated from LTIR. Andreoff has seven points (3G / 4A) in 11 AHL games.


Martin has missed the last nine games with a lower-body injury but will play vs. the Penguins. Martin has just two goals, one assist and a plus-2 rating in seven games this season.

Varlamov allowed four goals on 28 shots in Colorado's win over the Maple Leafs last Wednesday. Thomas Greiss started Saturday but the goalie rotation will continue tonight in Pittsburgh. The 31-year-old has gone 2-0 while allowing just one goal on 60 shots (.983 SV%) in his two road starts. He allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in his first start vs. the Penguins.
