The 2021-22 Vezina Trophy winner will not be repeating his award win this season, but still has a decent 29-11-7 record, 2.63 GAA and .910 SV%. He will face the Washington Capitals, who snapped a two-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over the New York Islanders but are 19th in the NHL in goals per game (3.09).

Quick will start Thursday in Tampa.

Quick stopped 25 of 28 shots (.893 SV%) for his first win as a member of the Vegas Golden Knights as he beat Montreal in his last start. The 37-year-old veteran netminder has struggled on both teams he's occupied this season, with his 12-13-4 record, 3.48 GAA and .877 SV%. He will look to stay undefeated in Vegas as he takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who just snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over Philadelphia last game.

Shesterkin will start Thursday in Montreal.

Shesterkin allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%) as he snapped a two-game winning streak with a loss to Boston in his last start. The 27-year-old will not be receiving the Vezina Trophy for a second straight season as he has a 27-11-7 record, 2.67 GAA and .909 SV%. He will face the Montreal Canadiens, who are looking to snap their current four-game losing skid after a 4-3 shootout loss to Carolina last game.

Jonny Brodzinski has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Brodzinski had 12 goals 18 assists, 33 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 34 games played with Hartford (AHL) this season and has been recalled Tuesday to New York. The 29-year-old returns to the Rangers, where he had a goal and an assist across 16 games earlier this season in his previous NHL stint.

Connor Mackey and Brett Ritchie has been traded to Arizona for Troy Stecher and Nick Ritchie.

Mackey had two goals, three points, nine PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 10 games with the Calgary Flames and has been traded alongside Brett Ritchie for Troy Stecher and Nick Ritchie. The 26-year-old has 29 career NHL games across 19 games played.

The Penguins acquired Bonino from the Sharks on Friday in a three-team trade that also involved the Canadiens.

An experienced penalty-killer, Bonino will provide some depth and defensive pedigree to the Penguins' bottom-six. The 34-year-old makes his return to Pittsburgh, after previously playing for the team during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. He scored ten goals and added nine assists in 59 games for the Sharks this season, and is likely to take over the recently-traded Brock McGinn's spot on the Penguins' fourth line.

The Golden Knights have acquired Jonathan Quick from the Blue Jackets for Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 7th Round Pick.

Quick joins his third team this week as he was dealt from Columbus to Vegas for Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 7th Round Pick Thursday. The 37-year-old was 11-13-4 with a 3.50 GAA and .876 SV% with the Los Angeles Kings this season and did not have a chance to play in any games during his brief stint in Columbus.

Carrick was a healthy scratch for the Ducks' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Wednesday vs. Washington. The 31-year-old has three goals, two assists, 42 SOG, 68 PIMs and a -19 plus/minus through 43 games this season.
