The Penguins acquired Bonino from the Sharks on Friday in a three-team trade that also involved the Canadiens.

An experienced penalty-killer, Bonino will provide some depth and defensive pedigree to the Penguins' bottom-six. The 34-year-old makes his return to Pittsburgh, after previously playing for the team during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. He scored ten goals and added nine assists in 59 games for the Sharks this season, and is likely to take over the recently-traded Brock McGinn's spot on the Penguins' fourth line.

The Golden Knights have acquired Jonathan Quick from the Blue Jackets for Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 7th Round Pick.

Quick joins his third team this week as he was dealt from Columbus to Vegas for Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 7th Round Pick Thursday. The 37-year-old was 11-13-4 with a 3.50 GAA and .876 SV% with the Los Angeles Kings this season and did not have a chance to play in any games during his brief stint in Columbus.

Sam Carrick will draw back into the Ducks' lineup Wednesday vs. Washington.

Carrick was a healthy scratch for the Ducks' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Wednesday vs. Washington. The 31-year-old has three goals, two assists, 42 SOG, 68 PIMs and a -19 plus/minus through 43 games this season.

Shesterkin will start Wednesday in Philadelphia.

Shesterkin stopped 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak with a victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The 27-year-old has struggled mightily as of late, which has caused his underlying numbers to slip to a .910 SV% and 2.65 GAA on the season while still maintaining his solid record of 26-10-7. He will take on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have lost seven of their last eight games after an ugly 7-0 defeat to New Jersey last game.

The Blue Jackets have acquired Jonathan Quick, a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick from the Kings for Joonas Korpisalo and Vladislav Gavrikov.

Quick was 11-13-4 with a 3.50 GAA and .876 SV% and has been dealt alongside a first-round pick and a third-round pick from the Kings for Joonas Korpisalo and Vladislav Gavrikov. It is the first time the 37-year-old will not be in Los Angeles in his 16-year career.
