Panarin (lower-body) will miss his second straight game on Tuesday.

Panarin continues to deal with what the Rangers are calling a short-term lower-body injury but it will keep him sidelined again on Tuesday. The Rangers should stick with the same lineup up front and Panarin should be considered questionable for Thursday's game in Philadelphia.

Panarin is questionable for Friday due to a lower-body injury.

Panarin didn't play much in the third period or overtime during Wednesday's loss to the Bruins and is questionable to play in the rematch on Friday. Head coach David Quinn didn't sound overly concerned about the injury, calling it "a little bit of a lower-body injury," so it seems like there's a decent chance he suits up on Friday.

The Hurricanes are "hopeful" that Trocheck will return to the Hurricanes lineup on Thursday.

Trocheck was scratched in Columbus on Monday due to a lower-body injury but head coach Rod Brind'Amour is hopeful that he'll be available on Thursday. Trocheck, who has had a hot start to the season, travelled to Dallas and comes in with six goals and three assists (nine points) in nine games.

Shesterkin will start Monday vs. the Islanders.

Shesterkin allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Rangers win over the Capitals last Thursday. After a tough start to the season, Shesterkin is settling in, winning three in a row while stopping 79 of the 84 shots (.940 SV%) that he's faced. Tonight he'll look for revenge against an Islanders team, who scored four goals on 33 shots against him in the season opener.

Brannstrom is expected to make his season debut on Thursday.

Brannstrom was promoted from the AHL to the taxi squad on Wednesday and will likely be moved to the active roster prior to Thursday's game in Montreal. Brannstrom skated with Erik Gudbranson in Thursday's morning skate and will likely play on PP2 as well. The 21-year-old defenseman has four assists in 33 career NHL games.

Nash will be back in the Blue Jackets lineup on Thursday.

Nash was a healthy scratch with Patrik Laine making his Blue Jackets debut on Tuesday but he will replace Liam Foudy in the rematch on Thursday. Nash has just one assist and 10 shots while playing 13:39 ATOI in his first 10 games of the season.

After a slow start to the season, Shesterkin has now won two in a row while stopping 48 of the 51 shots (.941 SV%) that he's faced. Tonight he faces a Capitals team that have won three of their last four and continue to get players back from COVID-19 reserve list.

Quick allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Kings' win in St. Louis on Sunday. Cal Petersen gave him the night off on Tuesday and it looks like the goalie rotation will continue with Quick starting the rematch in Minnesota on Thursday. Shesterkin will start Thursday in Buffalo.

Shesterkin allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Rangers' loss to the Penguins on Sunday. Shesterkin was a trendy pick in season-long league drafts and has been a huge disappointment so far this season, going 0-2-1 with a 2.98 GAA and .886 SV% in three starts and one relief appearance. Tonight he'll face a Sabres team that has shown signs of life after a slow start, scoring 3.20 goals per game in their last five games.
