


Zub was an undrafted free agent defenseman out of Russia, who is coming off of a career-year in the KHL. The 24-old set new career-highs in goals (13), assists (9) and points (22) in 57 games with St. Petersburg SKA. In 2018 he represented Russia in the Olympics, where he had four assists in six games to help the team win gold.

MacDermid was set to become an RFA this offseason but signed an extension that takes him through the 2022 season. MacDermid set career-highs in games played (45), goals (3), assists (5) and points (8) in his third season with the Kings.

Crotty was a third-round pick in 2017 and wrapped up his third-year at Boston University with nine points (4G / 5A) in 30 games. Crotty is a 6-foot-2, 190 lbs. blueliner who will likely head to Tucson (AHL) when he turns pro.

Ullmark has missed the last 18 games with a lower-body injury but will make his first start since January 28th tonight vs. the Capitals. Before getting hurt, Ullmark was 5-3-0 with a 2.17 GAA and .929 SV% in eight January starts and is 10-5-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .917 SV% in 16 home games this season. In his first start against the Capitals, Ullmark surrendered six goals on 34 shots in a 6-1 loss.

Ullmark has been out since January 28th but will serve as Carter Hutton's backup on Friday. Ullmark was playing great before getting hurt, winning five of his last eight with a 2.17 GAA and .919 SV%.

Cousins will play on the third line with Chandler Stephenson and Nicolas Roy. He joins his new team with 22 points (9G / 13A) in 58 games this season, including four power-play points (2G / 2A).

Cousins was not on the ice for the Golden Knights morning skate because he is having issues with his visa coming from Canada. Vegas skated with 11 forwards, leaving a spot open for Cousins to skate with Chandler Stephenson and Nicolas Roy on the third line. Consider Cousins as a game-time decision.

Cousins was an effective bottom-6 forward for the Canadiens this season, posting 22 points (9G / 13A) in 58 games while playing just 13:28 ATOI. In Vegas, he'll help fill a void left by Alex Tuch's injury and should be a third line winger moving forward.

Chabot was hurt early in Saturday's game vs. the Canadiens but will play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. This is obviously big news for the Senators, but he comes in with just three assists in his last 11 games.

Jensen was a healthy scratch on Saturday but will replace Radko Gudas in the lineup tonight vs. the Islanders. Jensen has had very little success offensively this season, posting four assists in 54 games.

Ullmark suffered a non-contact lower-body injury in Tuesday's loss to the Senators. It looked like it could be a long-term injury but Ullmark catches a break with a 3-to-4 week timetable. Jonas Johansson has been called up from Rochester (AHL) to take his spot on the roster.

Ullmark stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Sabres' 2-1 loss to the Predators on January 18th. Ullmark was playing unbelievable hockey heading into the Sabres' bye week, going 3-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .947 SV% in his last four starts. Tonight he faces a Senators team that he's played well against, going 1-1-0 while giving up just four goals on 52 shots (.923 SV%) in two meetings this season.

Batherson appeared in the last seven games before the Senators' bye week, scoring one goal with one assist while playing 16:02 ATOI. With Ottawa getting back in action on Monday, Batherson returns from Belleville, where he leads the team with 46 points (14G / 32A) in 37 games.

Ullmark stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Sabres win in Dallas on Thursday. Ullmark has won three in a row while posting a terrific 1.34 GAA and .948 SV%. Tonight he face a Predators team that has been in a tail-spin since Christmas, losing seven of their last 10 (3-6-1) while scoring 2.80 goals for with 3.70 goals against.


Ullmark stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Sabres 5-1 win over the Red Wings on Sunday. The 26-year-old has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.25 GAA and .920 SV% in his last four starts but will be tested tonight with the Golden Knights in town. Vegas has struggled recently, losing there straight but are expected to get Jonathan Marchessault back after a five-game absence.


Ullmark allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Sabres win over the Panthers. Ullmark has started seven straight games, going 3-4-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .905 SV%. He starts in St. Louis, where the Blues have won six in a row while scoring 3.67 goals per game.
