It was a surprising win for Ottawa, but it extended Anderson’s streak of allowing three-plus goals to five games. Anderson is tied for seventh in the NHL in wins (7) but is 41st in GAA (3.70) and tied for 29th in SV% (.905).
Batherson was called up after lighting up the AHL, scoring seven goals with 13 assists (20 points) in his first 14 games. The former fourth round pick is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday, skating on a line with Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel.

Tkachuk was once again on the ice at the Senators facility on Tuesday, but will not play tonight vs. the Devils. Tkachuk shed his non-contact jersey and is “very close” to returning to the lineup. Look for him to be back in the Senators’ top-6 on Thursday.
