Cousins (visa) is questionable to make his Golden Knights debut on Wednesday.

Cousins was not on the ice for the Golden Knights morning skate because he is having issues with his visa coming from Canada. Vegas skated with 11 forwards, leaving a spot open for Cousins to skate with Chandler Stephenson and Nicolas Roy on the third line. Consider Cousins as a game-time decision.

The Golden Knights have signed Nick Holden to a two-year contract extension worth $3.4 million ($1.7M AAV).

Holden was set to become an unrestricted free agent after the season but is now locked up through the 2022 season. Holden has scored five goals with six assists (11 points) in 54 games this season while ranking third among Vegas defensemen in PK TOI (1:56/gm).

The Golden Knights have acquired Nick Cousins from the Canadiens for a 2021 fourth-round draft pick.

Cousins was an effective bottom-6 forward for the Canadiens this season, posting 22 points (9G / 13A) in 58 games while playing just 13:28 ATOI. In Vegas, he'll help fill a void left by Alex Tuch's injury and should be a third line winger moving forward.

Anderson starts Saturday in Winnipeg.

Anderson allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Senators loss in Toronto last Saturday. Anderson has played well in his last two starts, stopping 62 of the 66 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced. Anderson is an ugly 4-7-1 with a 3.43 GAA and .893 SV% on the road this season, so he's a risky option on Saturday afternoon.
