Amadio, 21, was a third round pick (No.90 overall) in 2014 and has earned his first career call-up following a two-assist in five-game start to the AHL season. The Canadian-born forward had 41 points (16G / 25A) in 68 games with the Reign a season ago.

Anderson allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Senators win over Toronto last Saturday. Mike Condon started on Tuesday, so they’ll come back to Anderson tonight vs. the Flyers. The 36-year-old comes into play on Thursday at 1-1-3 with a 3.10 GAA and .899 SV% in five starts at the Canadian Tire Centre this season.

Forsberg allowed four goals on 43 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss in Toronto on October 9th. With Corey Crawford starting last night, Forsberg will make his second start of the season tonight vs. the Oilers. Edmonton is off to a terrible start to the season, but they still have Connor McDavid—making Forsberg a risky spot-start option.

Anderson allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Senators’ loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. Anderson has had a strong start to the season, going 2-1-2 with a 1.91 GAA, .926 SV% and one shutout in his first five starts. Tonight he takes on a New Jersey team that is surprisingly sitting at 5-1-0 while ranking third in the league in goals (4.17 GF/PG).

Anderson stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Senators’ shutout win in Calgary on Friday. Mike Condon gave him the night off on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Anderson tonight vs. the Canucks. He faced Vancouver last week, stopping 26 of 28 shots in the victory—roll him out again.

After losing his first two starts of the season, Anderson finally got into the win column and will make his fourth straight start tonight. Anderson has posted a 2.15 GAA and .919 SV% so far and tonight he faces a Flames team who have won three in a row.

After sitting out of the season opener, Cousins has been in the lineup for the last two games, failing to record a point, four shots and three hits. He’ll likely centre the fourth line with Jordan Martinook and Anthony Duclair on his wings.

Cousins is dealing with a lower-body injury and is listed as a game-time decision, but doesn’t carry a lot of fantasy value regardless of his status. Cousins has no points and three shots in two games so far this season.

Anderson made 29 saves on 30 shots in Ottawa’s shootout loss to the visiting Red Wings on Saturday. Anderson has lost each of his first two starts via the shootout while stopping 53 of 59 shots (.914 SV%). Tonight he will make his first start outside of Ottawa—he went 12-6-2 with a 2.38 GAA, .927 SV% and three shutouts on the road a season ago.

The Senators blueline is banged up; Erik Karlsson is still fighting a foot injury, Johnny Oduya missed Saturday’s game with a lower-body injury and Ben Harpur left that game with an upper-body ailment. Chabot, who was expected to make the opening night roster, has one goal and one assist in two games with Belleville (AHL). Look for Chabot to make his season debut on tomorrow in Vancouver.

Formenton, 18, was a second round pick (No.47 overall) in this summer’s draft and tonight he will play in his first NHL games. Formenton, who will replace fellow 2017 draft pick Logan Brown, had 34 points (16G / 18A) in 65 games with London (OHL) last season.

Anderson surrendered four goals on 28 shots in the Senators’ shootout loss to the Capitals on Thursday. It was not a great start to the season for the veteran netminder, who will make his second start of the season tonight vs. Detroit. The Red Wings looked surprisingly good in their opener, but this is a pretty solid matchup for Anderson.

Anderson had a tough year off of the ice due to his wife’s health concerns, but played exceptionally well when he was with the Senators in 2016-17. However, year-to-year consistency has routinely been something that has escaped Anderson as he enters his seventh full-season with the Senators. His first test of the season will come against a Capitals team that ranked third in the NHL in scoring last year and figure to be close to as powerful this season.

After missing the majority of the preseason while rehabbing his surgically repaired shoulder, Brassard is ready to go for Thursday. Brassard had a disappointing debut season in Ottawa, picking up just 39 points (14G / 25A) in 81 games. He was a lot strong in the playoffs, so look for him to get back to his 20-goal, 30-40 assist pace from his Ranger days.

Anderson was entering the final year of a three-year deal but is now signed through the 2019-20 season. Anderson is coming off of a tough off-the-ice season, but played spectacularly in his 40 starts, going 25-11-4 with a 2.28 GAA, .926 SV% and five shutouts. As long as everything goes well, Anderson should get back to 50-plus starts and could approach 30 wins, making him a solid No.2 fantasy option.

This summer the Flyers drafted Nolan Patrick at No.2 overall, creating a logjam down the middle in Philadelphia. With Nolan expected to make the roster out of training camp, the Flyers gave Giroux a look on the left side of Sean Couturier with Jakub Voracek on the wing. Couturier and Patrick would likely serve as the No.1 and No.2 centres with the likes of Valtteri Filppula and Jori Lehtera likely being the No.3 and No.4 pivots. The centre depth will allow the Flyers to get creative and putting Giroux on the wing with Couturier and Voracek could give them a dominant first line without sacrificing depth. It’s only been one day of practice, but Giroux would definitely see an uptick in fantasy value if he were to gain dual position eligibility (C/LW).

Brassard continues to recover from offseason shoulder surgery and while he’s not expected to be sidelined for much longer, it doesn’t look like he’ll be ready for Ottawa’s season opener (Oct.5). Rookie Colin White was hoping to fill-in for Brassard and make the team out of camp, but broke his wrist in their preseason game on Monday, which opens the door for fellow rookies Logan Brown and Filip Chlapik to potentially crack the roster.
