Murashov has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

With Tristan Jarry (lower body) activated from Injured Reserve and returning to the crease, Pittsburgh has reassigned Murashov to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The 21-year-old Murashov is widely seen as the goalie of the future for Pittsburgh and impressed in a small four-game sample (1-1-1), posting a 1.90 GAA and a .913 SV%.

Kindel will be out vs. Buffalo on Wednesday as part of his development plan.

Kindel recorded an assist in his most recent game, snapping a five-game pointless skid, but will head to the sidelines as a healthy scratch on Wednesday in a planned effort to control his acclimation to the NHL level. The 18-year-old forward is averaging 15:21 time-on-ice and has eight points (5G / 3A) in 19 games this season.
