Carter is battling an upper-body injury and has not played since March 17th, missing three games. The veteran winger has been non-existent offensively for most of the season but has two points (1G / 1A) in his last three contests.

Poulin has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Poulin was recalled in response to Noel Acciari being placed on Injured Reserve with a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Poulin was the 21st overall pick of the Penguins in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and has played the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL, scoring 27 points (13G / 14A) in 36 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

St. Ivany will make his NHL debut on Friday in Dallas.

St. Ivany was the fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has yet to play an NHL game. The 24-year-old California-born defenseman has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), tallying 12 points (4G / 8A) in 52 games. He will make his NHL debut on Friday as Ryan Graves is away from the team to attend to the birth of his child.

Jack St. Ivany
Graves (personal) did not travel with Pittsburgh on their road trip due to the birth of his child.

The Penguins will be without Graves on Friday as he is attending to the birth of his child. Graves has 14 points (3G / 11A) and 139 blocks in 68 games this season. Jack St. Ivany is expected to make his NHL debut in Graves' absence.
