Tanev (upper-body) is expected to return to the Penguins lineup on Thursday.

Tanev has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury but was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and the Penguins say "there's a good chance" he plays on Thursday. Tanev was hot before he got hurt, scoring two goals and six assists in his last eight games.

McCann (upper-body) has been activated from IR and is expected to play Saturday.

McCann has missed the six games with a lower-body injury but is set to play this afternoon vs. the Devils. With Evgeni Malkin out week-to-week, McCann will centre the Penguins' second line in his return to the lineup.

Schwartz (lower-body) has a "good chance" to play on Friday.

Schwartz has been out since February 12th but it looks like he could play Friday in San Jose. Schwartz has spent the majority of the season on Brayden Schenn's wing, so that seems like the likely spot for him to skate on Friday. He has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 14 games this season.

Daccord (lower-body) is going to be "out for a little bit."

Daccord left Wednesday's game vs. the Canucks with an apparent leg injury and is expected to miss some time. Daccord had been playing well, stopping 77 of the last 85 shots (.906 SV%) in his last three appearances. With Matt Murray also hurt, Filip Gustavsson becomes their No.1, but Ottawa is off until Monday.
