

Fleury spent most of the 2024-25 season as the Kraken's No.7 defenseman, appearing in 14 games with the team. He did spend some time in the AHL, where he had 26 points (7G / 19A) in 39 games with Coachella Valley. Expect Fleury to serve a similar fringe roster player role over the next two seasons.

Marchment will be in the final year of a four-year deal that carries a $4.5M AAV cap-hit. The Stars are pressed up against the salary cap, so Marchment is their first move to clear some space. The 30-year-old winger was on pace for a career-best season in 2024-25, but missed 20 games due to injury. He finished the year with 47 points (22G / 25A) in 62 games, a 29-goal, 33-assist pace.

Despite not collecting a point in eight games with Seattle in 2024-25, Ben Meyers has earned himself a one-year, $775,000 contract extension. The undrafted 26-year-old is currently with his third NHL team in five seasons and has six goals and eight points in 75 career NHL games.

Hammell was Seattle's 2023 5th-round pick (148th overall) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract on Sunday. The 20-year-old defenseman captained the Everett Silvertips (WHL) in 2024-25 and had 10 goals and 38 points in 59 games played.


Hayden has spent the last three seasons in Seattle and will remain with the Kraken for two more years after signing a two-year, $1.55 million contract extension ($775,000 AAV) on Wednesday. The 30-year-old forward appeared in 20 games with the Kraken in 2024-25, picking up a goal and two points to go alongside 31 PIMs while averaging 8:31 TOI/GP.

The 28-year-old Daccord was solid in his most recent outing but did not receive ample goal support, saving 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) in a 2-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. He has a 2.69 GAA and .908 SV% in 56 games this season (27-22-5). Seattle enters Tuesday's contest as +102 home underdogs against a Los Angeles team that defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-0 last night.

Ottavainen was Seattle's fourth-round pick, 99th overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game. He has 15 points (3G / 12A) in 66 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Daccord struggled on Tuesday while making his second start in as many nights, giving up seven goals on 29 shots in a 7-1 loss in Utah. The 28-year-old netminder has performed well for the Kraken this season, posting a 27-21-5 record and a .908 SV%. He'll have his hands full again on Thursday as the Kraken enter action at +225 on the money line.

Ostman made his NHL debut in a relief performance yesterday, saving all 12 shots he faced in a 7-1 loss to the Utah Hockey Club. The 24-year-old netminder has a 2.00 GAA and .927 SV% in four games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season (2-1-1).

Fleury will slot right back out of the Kraken lineup after drawing in for Monday's game in Los Angeles. Ryker Evans (illness) will take his spot in the lineup.

Hayden will take a seat on Tuesday as the Kraken opt to get some fresh legs into the lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Ryan Winterton will play in his place.
