Kempny is coming off of his first NHL season after spending six years in the Czech league and one year in the KHL. Kempny had eight points (2G / 6A) in 50 games, but only appeared in seven games after the Blackhawks’ acquired Johnny Oduya at the trade deadline.
Olofsson has appeared in the last three games and 13 NHL games overall during his time with the big club. His return to the AHL suggests that Christian Folin will return to the Wild lineup this weekend.
Tanev, 25, has split his time between the AHL and NHL this season. He has two goals and two assists (four points) in 45 games with the Jets and nine points (3G / 6A) in 23 games with the Moose.
Burakovsky has been sidelined since February 9th and will remain in Washington to skate while the team goes to California for a three-game trip. Monitor his status leading up to next Tuesday’s game vs. the Wild.
Gourde was called-up prior to Monday’s game, but did not get into the lineup. Gourde returns to Syracuse, where he has 20 goals and 23 assists (43 points) on the season.

The Capitals have stuck to their guns on back-to-back’s this season, so Grubauer should bring his 5-4-2 road record into Nashville today—he has a 2.58 GAA and .912 SV% in those starts.
