Tyler Tucker will draw back into the Blues' lineup Friday vs. St. Louis.

Tucker will play for only the third time since November 7th and is expected to skate on the Blues third defensive pair with Scott Perunovich. In 10 games this season, the 23-year-old Tucker has two points (1G / 1A), 10 penalty minutes, 11 blocks, and 17 hits.

Joel Hofer will start Friday in Columbus.

Hofer will start for the first time since allowing four goals on 15 shots (.733 SV%) in an 8-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on November 24th but will have a favourable matchup against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that has lost three straight, including a 7-3 loss to the New York Islanders last night. Hofer has been inconsistent this season but mostly reliable when called upon, posting a 3.04 GAA and .901 SV% in nine games (5-4-0). The Blues are -141 road favourites on Friday night.

Philip Broberg has been loaned to Bakersfield (AHL).

With trade talks speculating as a result of Broberg being unable to make an impact with the Oilers, he has been loaned to the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. Broberg, the eighth overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, is averaging only 10:32 time-on-ice and has failed to record a point through 10 games this season. Benjamin Gleason has been recalled from Bakersfield to replace him in the Oilers lineup.

Jordan Binnington will start Wednesday vs. Vegas.

Binnington will take the Blues' crease of the fifth time in six games as he draw Vegas Monday after beating them with a 33 save performance (.971 SV%) in his previous start. The 30-year-old goaltender has enjoyed a pleasant bounce back season thus far after two down years, with his 8-6-1 record, 2.86 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Vegas Golden Knights for a second-straight game, who has lost four of their last six games and are 10th in the NHL in shots per game (32.0).

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) for conditioning purposes.

Joseph has not played since November 4th, recovering from a lower-body injury, and has only played five total games this season. As a result, he has been reassigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL for a conditioning stint and will presumably be recalled in the near future.

Jordan Binnington will start Monday at Vegas.

Binnington did not play on Saturday but will return to the crease on Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights, who have won two straight, outscoring their opposition 8-2. Binnington has won two of his last three (2-1-0), saving 107 of 116 shots in the process (.922 SV%). The Blues, however, have been inconsistent lately, losing three of their last five (2-3-0), and, as such, are +163 road underdogs against the Golden Knights.

Jordan Binnington will start Thursday vs. Buffalo.

Binnington will start for the third consecutive game and look to build off a strong 34-save performance (.919 SV%) in a 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. Binnington has been mostly solid this season, recording a 2.91 GAA and .910 SV% through 16 games (6-6-1), but has allowed three or more goals in four of his last five appearances (1-2-0). The Blues are -122 home favourites on Thursday against a Buffalo Sabres team that ranks in the bottom-third of the league offensively (2.91 GF / GP) and has been wildly inconsistent this season, indicated by their 4-4-0 record over their last eight games.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) was in a normal practice jersey at Wednesday's team skate.

Joseph has not played since November 4th due to a lower-body injury but appears to be on the verge of a return to the lineup after being a full participant at the Penguins' practice on Wednesday. Before his injury, Joseph had one point (0G / 1A) in five games, averaging 13:05 time-on-ice, playing predominantly with Chad Ruhwedel on the Penguins' third defensive pairing.

Tyler Tucker will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Minnesota.

Tucker suited up for the first time in nine games in St.Louis' previous contest but will head back to the press box as he is a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Minnesota. The 23-year-old had a goal, an assist, eight PIMs and six SOG in nine games played this season will be replaced by Scott Perunovich Tuesday.

Jordan Binnington will start Tuesday at Minnesota.

Binnington is coming off a sensational 32-save performance (.941 SV%) in a 4-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday and will return to the crease again as the Blues' starting goalie on Tuesday. Binnington has been significantly better than his output over the previous two seasons but still has been wildly inconsistent, highlighted by a .894 SV% over his past seven appearances (3-1-0), which contain a shutout and four high-quality starts. The Blues are +142 road underdogs against a Minnesota Wild team that will be playing their first game under new head coach John Hynes.
