Jordan Binnington will start Tuesday at Minnesota.

Binnington is coming off a sensational 32-save performance (.941 SV%) in a 4-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday and will return to the crease again as the Blues' starting goalie on Tuesday. Binnington has been significantly better than his output over the previous two seasons but still has been wildly inconsistent, highlighted by a .894 SV% over his past seven appearances (3-1-0), which contain a shutout and four high-quality starts. The Blues are +142 road underdogs against a Minnesota Wild team that will be playing their first game under new head coach John Hynes.

Alexandre Texier (illness) will be out Friday vs. New Jersey.

Texier will miss a second straight game Friday vs. New Jersey as he deals with an a lingering illness. The 24-year-old French centre has enjoyed a bit of a breakout so far in 2023-24, with four goals, three assists, 29 SOG, four PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 19 games.

Binnington will return to the crease on Wednesday when the St. Louis Blues face off as slight +101 road underdogs against the Arizona Coyotes. The Blues have already faced the Coyotes twice this season (1-1-0), but Wednesday will mark Binnington's first appearance against them. Binnington has a terrific 2.47 GAA and .922 SV% through 12 games (5-5-1), unquestionably his best season since the 2018-19 campaign when he emerged as a rookie and led the Blues to the Stanley Cup.

The Oilers are expected to dress seven defencemen on Monday as Broberg draws back into the lineup for the first time since November 2nd. Broberg has zero points in eight games this season, tallying six blocks and two hits while averaging 11:12 time-on-ice.

Binnington will be back in the Blues' crease on Saturday after Joel Hofer got the nod in Thursday's 5-1 defeat to the Sharks. Binnington relieved Hofer in that game after the latter allowed four goals on just 21 shots. Binnington has enjoyed a bit of renaissance to begin the 2023-24 season, owning an impressive .930 SV% and 2.23 GAA across 11 appearances. He's been unfortunate to rack up just five wins despite his efforts, and things won't get any easier tonight with the Blues going off as +150 underdogs in Los Angeles.

Hofer will be the starter on Thursday for a red-hot Blues team that has won five of their last six games (5-1-0), outscoring their opposition 26-12. In limited action this season, Hofer has been excellent when called upon, saving 76 of 80 shots faced (.950 SV%) over his last three contests (3-0-0). The Blues will look to continue their winning ways, as they are sizeable -215 road favourites against the league's worst team, the San Jose Sharks, who are averaging a nearly non-existent 1.31 goals per game.

Holloway was hoping he was turning his season around after scoring his first point in game 13 of the season but followed that up by suffering an undisclosed injury in the following contest. The Oilers have recalled Adam Erne and Raphael Lavoie as potential substitutes for the 22-year-old Holloway.

Broberg has been recalled from the AHL in addition to Adam Erne and Raphael Lavoie in moves corresponding to Mattias Janmark and Dylan Holloway being placed on the injured reserve. The 22-year-old Broberg has eight games with the Oilers this season, scoring zero points while averaging 11:12 time-on-ice.
