Hofer will start Friday in Washington.

Binnington was ejected after allowing five goals on 24 shots (.792 SV%) and getting a Roughing/Unsportsmanlike Conduct for his penalty against Ryan Hartman of the Minnesota Wild. The 29-year-old will be forced to miss the next two games and has a 22-24-5 record, 3.39 GAA and .892 SV% on the season.

Joseph left the Senators' game Tuesday vs. Calgary after just 2:38 TOI due to a lower-body injury and is now expected to miss a couple of weeks. The 26-year-old has three goals, 14 assists, 53 SOG, 34 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 47 games played prior to his injury.

Sundqvist was acquired by Minnesota for a 2023 fourth-round pick at the Trade Deadline and will make his Wild debut Tuesday vs. Calgary. The 28-year-old had seven goals, 21 points, 20 PIMs and 59 SOG through 52 games with Detroit prior to the trade.

Colton Parayko is expected to return to the Blues' lineup tonight but is still a game-time decision (undisclosed).

Parayko has three goals, 16 assists, 105 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -21 plus/minus through 56 games played this season but will be a game-time decision Tuesday as he deals with an undisclosed injury. Parayko has been the subject of trade rumours as of late so the Blues' will hope he is back to full healthy by weeks end and the trade deadline Friday.
