The Lightning have placed Andrei Vasilevskiy on injured reserve.

Vasilevskiy is out indefinitely with an injury that he suffered in Wednesday’s practice. Vasilevskiy is being evaluated for a left injury.

Vasilevskiy may have fractured his left foot according to TSN’s Darren Dreger. Although unconfirmed by the Lightning, a fractured left foot would keep Vasilevskiy sidelined for a lengthy period of time and Louis Domingue would have to step-up as the team’s No.1 netminder. The Lightning should provide an update later on Thursday.
