Cernak will sit out for a second straight game and remains listed as day-to-day. The rookie defenseman is having a nice campaign, scoring two goals with seven assists, a plus-14 rating and 56 shots in 34 games. The Lightning obviously trust his game a lot, as he’s played over 20 minutes in each of the last five games and averages 18:33 TOI/gm for the season.

Vasilevskiy gave up four goals 32 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Penguins on Saturday. Vasilevskiy is 13-4-2 with a 2.46 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout in 19 starts on home-ice, so he makes for a solid option tonight, even against a quality Flames team.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Lightning’s shootout loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has been great lately, going 3-2-1 despite posting a 1.97 GAA, .940 SV% and two shutouts in his last six starts. He has not faced the Blues this season but comes in at 12-4-1 with a 2.46 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout on home-ice.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win over the Islanders last Friday. Vasilevskiy ended a bit of an ugly stretch for him with the shutout and tonight he faces the Golden Knights for the second time this season. The 24-year-old allowed two goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 lead in Vegas in the first meeting (Oct.26).

Point was scratched from the Lightning’s lineup in New York on Saturday but the Lightning said that it’s just a minor injury and it looks like he could be back in on Tuesday. Point has been outstanding this season, scoring 30 goals with 35 assists (65 points) in 51 games and is a must-start if he ends up playing.

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Vasilevskiy hasn’t been great recently, losing three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 14 goals on 153 shots (.909 SV%). Vasilevskiy has allowed at least three goals in four of those five games and comes into Friday 1-1-0 with a 3.13. GAA and .906 SV% vs. the Islanders this season.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Sharks on January 19th. The All-Star netminder will get right back between the pipes after the break and draws a tough assignment right away. Vasilevskiy has not faced the Penguins this season but is 8-2-2 with a 2.49 GAA, .923 SV% and two shutouts on the road.

Paul was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will draw back into the Senators lineup on Saturday. Paul has just one assist and a minus-7 rating in 17 games.

Santini has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace a banged up Ben Lovejoy on Thursday. Santini has just one assist in 12 games this season.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win in Dallas on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has two shutouts in his last four starts, going 3-1-0 while allowing just five goals on 120 shots (.958 SV%) over that stretch. In his first start vs. the Maple Leafs, Vasilevskiy stopped 48 of 49 shots in a 4-1 win (Dec.13).

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Islanders on Sunday. It was a rare an surprising loss for Vasilevskiy, who is 9-2-1 with a 2.84 GAA, .917 SV% and one shutout since returning from a foot injury in mid-December. Tonight he starts in Dallas and comes in at 7-2-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .916 SV% on the road.

Hedman was forced to leave Tampa Bay’s last game early but is ready to play Tuesday in Dallas. Hedman has been red-hot as of late, picking up one goal and 14 assists (15 points) in his last 16 games.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. Since returning from a fractured foot, Vasilevskiy has gone 8-1-1 with a 2.88 GAA, .919 SV% and one shutout. Vasilevskiy’s splits haven’t been great but he continues to rack up the wins—he is now tied for sixth in the NHL in wins (17) despite missing 15 games. He is a must-start against a Hurricanes team that he tied for 27th in the NHL in scoring (2.64 GF/pg).
