Glendening has been out since December 20th but it looks like he might be back in the second game of a back-to-back to kick-off the week. Even when he’s in the lineup, Glendening doesn’t have a lot of fantasy appeal—he has just 10 points (7G / 3A) in 34 games this season.

He draws a tough matchup with Vegas in town, but Vasilevskiy has gone 16-2-1 with a 2.43 GAA and .917 SV% on home ice.
Elliott allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Flyers win in New Jersey on Saturday. The win extended Elliott’s winning streak to three games, despite allowing a combined 10 goals on 91 shots (.890 SV%) in those games. Tonight he goes searching for win No.18 on the season as he faces a Rangers team that dropped seven of their last 10 games.
McDonagh missed Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh because he said his backed tightened up on him late in Saturday’s game vs. the Islanders. McDonagh was back on the Rangers second power-play unit this morning, so look for him to replace with Brendan Smith or Steve Kampfer in the lineup tonight. McDonagh is still searching for his first goal of the season, but is tied for 10th among defensemen in assists (19).

Hedman had to be helped off of the ice after suffering a lower-body injury in a knee-on-knee collision with Garnet Hathaway. Coach Jon Cooper said that the severity of Hedman’s injury wouldn’t be known until they can conduct tests on Friday. Hedman was unable to put weight on his leg, so it looks like it could force him to miss some time.

The win snapped a brief two-game losing skid for Vasilevskiy, who will make his 36th start of the season tonight. Vasilevskiy comes in tied for second in the NHL in GAA (2.10) and SV% (.933) but is the runaway leader in wins (27) so far.
Seabrook was a high-priced healthy scratch on Tuesday but expectation is that he will draw back in tonight vs. the Wild. Seabrook has had some good and bad moments this season, but overall the Blackhawks need him to be better than their other value, depth defensemen.
Seabrook has had a tough season, collecting just 11 points (1G / 11A) in 41 games this season. The veteran defenseman as been held pointless in nine straight games, posting a minus-4 in the process. The Blackhawks will give him a breather, but his contract is looking worse by the day—Seabrook has six years beyond this season remaining on his deal with a $6.875M AAV.
Pouliot has played well since joining the Canucks but has been held pointless with a minus-4 rating in his last seven games, so he will take a seat with Alex Biega drawing back in.
