Hakanpaa missed Game 4 due to an undisclosed injury and will be a game-time decision for Game 5 on Thursday after fully taking part in the morning skate. The 31-year-old defender has a goal, an assist, nine SOG, 16 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through nine games prior to his injury.

Knies has been out since Game 2 due to a concussion and although he is improving significantly according to head coach Sheldon Keefe, he will be out again for Game 5 vs. Florida. The 20-year-old is enjoying a strong first career playoffs, picking up a goal, three assists, seven SOG, four PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through seven games prior to his injury.

Woll was sensational in his first career playoff start in Game 4, stopping 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%) as he led Toronto to their first win in the series as they escaped a sweep with a 2-1 win over Florida. The 24-year-old rookie has been solid during his short stint in the playoffs, with his 1-1-0 record, 2.45 GAA and .902 SV%. He will hope to keep the Maple Leafs' season alive as they take on the Florida Panthers in Game 5, who led the NHL in shots per game (36.8) during the regular season.

Woll allowed three goals on 21 shots (.857 SV%) as he lost in overtime to Florida in Game 3 after filling in early in the second period for an injury Ilya Samsonov. The 24-year-old has not seen much action in the 2022-23 playoffs so far, posting a 0-1-0 record, .846 SV% and 3.85 GAA. He will hope to keep the Maple Leafs' season alive as they take on Florida on the road, who led the NHL in shots on goal per game (36.8) during the regular season.

Nylander spent most of the 2023 season in the AHL, where he had 50 points (25G / 25A) in 55 games. During his brief time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he tallied two points (1G / 1A) in nine games. His one-way contract means the 25-year-old will be with the Penguins for 2024.

Knies finished his short regular season tenure with the Maple Leafs with an assist and a +1 plus/minus through three games after posting 42 points (21G/21A) in 40 games with the University of Minnesota (NCAA) earlier this season and will make his playoff debut Thursday for Game 2. The 20-year-old rookie will be replacing Michael Bunting in the Maple Leafs' lineup, who is serving the first game of his three-game suspension.

Marner missed Toronto's previous game due to rest related reasons but will draw back into Toronto's lineup for game 82 as he attempts to reach the century mark in points for the first time in his seven-year career. The 25-year-old has 30 goals, 69 assists, 195 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +18 plus/minus through 79 games this season.

Matthews missed the Maple Leafs' previous game due to rest-related reasons but will draw back into the lineup for Toronto's final game Thursday. The 25-year-old is currently sitting on 40 goals, 45 assists, 324 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +31 plus/minus through 73 games this season.

Tavares has 36 goals, 44 assists, 277 SOG, 34 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 80 games but is not expected to play on Thursday due to personal reasons. The 32-year-old just reached 80 points for the first time since 2018-19.

Woll allowed three goals on 48 shots (.938 SV%) for his fifth-straight win as he picked up the win over Tampa Bay in his previous start. The 24-year-old has been phenomenal in his small showings this season, with his 5-1-0 record, 2.19 GAA and .933 SV%. He will take on the New York Rangers, who have won three of their last five contests and are 10th in the NHL in goals per game (3.35).

Jarnkrok has missed the Maple Leafs' previous two games due to a head injury but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay. The 31-year-old centre had 19 goals, 18 assists, 104 SOG, 14 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 71 games prior to his injury.

Woll stopped 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) for his fourth-straight win as he beat the Columbus Blue Jackets in his previous start. The 24-year-old has been sensational during his few times called upon, with his 4-1-0 record, 2.02 GAA and .932 SV%. He will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost three-straight contests but are eighth in the NHL in goals per game (3.4).

Woll had a 16-4-1 record, .927 SV% and 2.37 GAA and has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL) on Tuesday as Ilya Samsonov deals with an injury (undisclosed). The 24-year-old netminder returns to the Maple Leafs, where he was sensational during his previous call-ups with his 4-1-0 record, .932 SV% and 2.02 GAA.

Nylander has 25 goals, 25 assists, eight PIMs and a +2 plus/minus in 55 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) and has been recalled on an emergency basis to Pittsburgh Tuesday. The 25-year-old returns to Pittsburgh, where he had a goal and two points in seven games earlier in the season.

Chenard was 14-16-2 with a .873 SV% and 3.96 GAA with the Owen Sound Attack (OHL) and has signed an amateur tryout Monday with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 21-year-old Tecumseh native will backup Ilya Samsonov on Monday vs. Florida.

Knies is fresh off of Saturday's NCAA National Championship game with the University of Minnesota (NCAA) and will make his NHL debut Monday vs. Florida. The 20-year-old is the Maple Leafs' 2021 second-round pick (57th overall) and had 21 goals and 21 assists, in 40 games with the University of Minnesota.
