The Blackhawks have reassigned Lukas Reichel to Rockford (AHL).

Reichel had seven goals, eight assists, 42 SOG, six PIMs and a -8 plus/minus through 23 games played with the Blackhawks' but has been reassigned to Rockford (AHL) in time for their playoff run. The 20-year-old returns to the IceHogs, where he has 17 goals, 29 assists, 12 PIMs and a -13 plus/minus through 51 games this season.

Demko allowed three goals on 24 shots (.875 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was defeated by the Los Angeles Kings in his previous start. The 27-year-old is on pace to have the worst statistical season of his career, with his 11-14-4 record, .894 SV% and 3.37 GAA. He will take on the Chicago Blackhawks, who just snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over Calgary last game.

Demko allowed six goals on 31 shots (.806 SV%) to snap a two-game winning streak as he took the loss vs. St. Louis in his previous start. ˇThe 27-year-old had a horrendous start to the season, which has led to his current 11-13-3 record, 3.32 GAA and .895 SV%. He takes on the Calgary Flames, who have won two straight and are second in the NHL in shots per game (35.5).

Hronek (shoulder) will miss the rest of the 2023 regular season.

Hronek was able to suit up for four games for the Vancouver Canucks before it was announced Friday that he would miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season due to a shoulder injury. The 25-year-old finishes his campaign with nine goals, 30 assists, 124 SOG, 34 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 64 games played between Vancouver and Detroit.

Hronek was traded to the Canucks nearly a month ago and is expected to make his Vancouver debut Thursday as he is recovered from a shoulder injury. The 25-year-old has played very well when healthy this season, with nine goals, 29 assists, 122 SOG, 34 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through 60 games this season.
