Hronek has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Gustav Lindstrom (undisclosed) in the lineup on Wednesday. Hronek has one assist and four shots on goal in four games this season.
Joshua comes up to replace Ryan O'Reilly, who was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Tuesday. Joshua had one goal in 12 games with the Blues last season.
Hughes was scratched from the lineup on Tuesday and will be a game-time decision on Thursday in Chicago. Hughes has picked up one goal and one assist in his first three games of the season.
