The third year defenseman will return to the lineup tonight against the Montreal Canadiens after serving a three-game ban for his hit on Scott Gomez last week.

Myers draws back into the lineup tonight after serving his three-game suspension. The big d-man has eight goals and 21 points through 50 games.

Based on the skate here, looks like Evander Kane is back on the top unit with Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little

Kane moves back onto the Little line after briefly watching captain Andrew Ladd take his place. His 18 goals still rank first on the team but his 31 points are one behind the red-hot Blake Wheeler.

“I take another CAT scan tomorrow morning,” Myers said. “We’ll know a little bit more there, if I can start leaning on my stick a lot more, start engaging in physical play. I think today was its best day.”

Myers was deemed "a ways away" by coach Lindy Ruff at the end of December. Sounds like he continues to take steps in the right direction but probably misses another week or two.
