Kane (lower-body) will travel on the Jets’ upcoming three-game road trip.

Kane, who returned to practice this afternoon, is hopeful that he will return to the lineup during this week’s three game road trip. Kane was originally expected to be out until early-February, but he is way ahead of schedule. Playing tomorrow seems unlikely, but monitor his status heading into the weekend.

Kane (lower-body) took part in Jets’ practice in a no-contact jersey on Wednesday.

Kane, who was placed on IR on Monday, took part in practice on Wednesday for the first time since being injured on December 27th. Kane is expected to be out until early February, but returning just one week into January is a positive sign that he could be back earlier. He will likely skate in a no-contact sweater for several days.

Myers (lower-body) will return to the Sabres lineup on Tuesday.

Myers has missed the last seven games with a lower-body injury but will get back into the lineup on Tuesday vs. New Jersey. "He's an anchor back there,” head coach Ted Nolan said after practice today. This is a big boost for the Sabres blue line—he will be paired with Josh Gorges.

The NHL suspended Evander Kane for two games on Monday.

Kane hit Clayton Stoner from behind on Sunday and was given a game misconduct. On Monday the league decided to suspend Kane for two games for the illegal hit from behind. He will miss Tuesday and Thursday’s games but is eligible to return on Saturday vs. the Ducks.

Myers (undisclosed) is expected to return to the Sabres lineup on Friday.

Myers missed Wednesday’s game with an undisclosed injury, but it looks like he will be back on the blue line tonight vs. the Habs. He was paired with Tyson Strachan in the morning skate which suggests he will play. He has five points (1G / 4A) in 21 games.
