Zach Whitecloud (upper body) will make his season debut Friday vs. San Jose.

Whitecloud has battled an upper-body injury that has prevented him from playing this season but will finally make his debut on Friday against the San Jose Sharks. Last season, Whitecloud played 59 games with the Golden Knights, tallying 12 points (5G / 7A) and a +10 plus/minus rating.

Adin Hill will start Friday vs. San Jose.

Hill will get his second consecutive start on Friday as he looks to rebound from his first regulation loss of the season. Hill has performed admirably throughout the season, boasting an impressive 1.97 GAA and .934 SV% in eight games (6-1-1). He allowed three goals on 32 shots (.906 SV%) on Wednesday, a 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, but will have the opportunity to make up for it against the lowest-scoring team in the NHL, the San Jose Sharks (1.31 GF / GP). The last-place Sharks have won two games in a row, but the Golden Knights are still astronomic -501 home favourites on Friday night.

Ilya Samsonov will start Saturday vs. Vancouver.

Samsonov was pulled after allowing four goals on 12 shots in the Maple Leafs' come-from-behind win over the Lighting on Monday. Joseph Woll started the last two games but Samsonov will start the second-half of their back-to-back on Saturday. He gets set to face a Canucks team that is on a five-game winning streak and lead the NHL in GF/60 (4.52).

Hill will start against the Kings on Wednesday.

Hill is the starter for the Golden Knights as they continue their rotation between him and Logan Thompson. Hill put together a tremendous effort in his most recent outing, saving all 41 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season, a 7-0 blowout victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Sunday, with Thompson between the pipes, the Golden Knights suffered their first regulation loss of the season, but Hill will look to continue his undefeated 6-0-1 record. The Golden Knights are -121 home favourites against a Los Angeles Kings team that has collected points in six straight (5-0-1).

Jonas Rondbjerg has been recalled from Henderson (AHL).

With news that Chandler Stephenson is expected to miss the next two games with an upper-body injury, Rondbjerg has been recalled from Henderson (AHL) and will likely play his fourth game of the season for Vegas on Wednesday. Rondbjerg has two points (1G / 1A) with the Golden Knights this season and is expected to skate alongside Brett Howden and Keegan Kolesar.

Samsonov will start against the Lightning on Monday.

After seemingly losing the starting crease early in the season, Joseph Woll's recent struggles have re-opened the door for Samsonov to make his mark. Samsonov is coming off his best performance of the season, saving 38 of 40 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins. The Maple Leafs are -150 home favourites against their rivals, the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are 4-1-3 in their last eight contests. On October 21st, Samsonov was pulled after allowing three goals on four shots to the Lightning in the first period, a game the Maple Leafs ultimately won 4-3 in overtime.

Jonas Rondbjerg has been reassigned to the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Rondbjerg has a goal, an assist, five SOG, and a +2 plus/minus through three games with Vegas this season but has been reassigned to Henderson (AHL) on Monday. The 24-year-old left-winger returns to the Silver Knights, where he had three assists and two PIMs in six games prior to his original promotion.

Schmid will start in St. Louis on Friday.

Schmid will make an appearance in the Devils crease on Friday as New Jersey travels to St. Louis for the tail-end of a back-to-back. It's the first start for Schmid since October 25th against the Capitals when he was pulled after surrendering three goals on just eight shots. Starter Vitek Vanecek has started and won all three games since, although he's registered just an .884 SV% over that stretch, so the door for an increased workload may still be open for Schmid if he can regain the form he flashed last season. Schmid has struggled to the tune of an .863 SV% and a 4.07 GAA across his first three starts of the season.

Samsonov will start in Boston on Thursday.

Joseph Woll suffered his worst performance of the season, allowing four goals on 27 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday and as a result, the team will turn back to Ilya Samsonov on Thursday night. In five games (2-1-1), Samsonov has an unimpressive 3.99 GAA and .841 SV% and won't have the luxury of easing his way back into form as the Maple Leafs take on the only Eastern Conference team without a regulation loss, the Boston Bruins (8-0-1).
