Hart allowed four goals on 33 shots (.879 SV%) in a loss to the New York Rangers in his previous start between the pipes. The 24-year-old has been the lone bright spot in an otherwise horrific Flyers season, with his 9-9-6 record, 2.82 GAA and .913 SV%. He draws the Columbus Blue Jackets Tuesday, who are looking to snap a four-game losing skid.

Carter Hart
Tomas Hertl has been suspended for two games for his high stick on Calgary's Elias Lindholm.

Hertl will be suspended for two games after his high-sticking infraction Sunday vs. Calgary. It is a massive loss for the Sharks who will be without their leading forward scorer, who has 11 goals, 21 assists, 12 PIMs and 82 SOG through 33 games played this season prior to his suspension.

Hill will start Monday vs. the Sabres.

Hill allowed five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) but still picked up his third straight win with a victory over Winnipeg in his previous start. The Golden Knights' backup has been solid this season, with a 8-2-1 record, 2.62 GAA and .907 SV%. He will face the Buffalo Sabres, who are on a three game winning streak after beating the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 in his last start.

Akira Schmid has been sent back down to Utica (AHL).

Schmid will head back down to Utica (AHL) after doing a more than admirable job backing up the Devils' crease, posting an incredible 5-3-0 record, 1.96 GAA and .932 SV%. He heads back to the minors, where he was also strong prior to his promotion, with a 2-1-2 record, .918 SV% and 1.97 GAA in a short four game showing.

Akira Schmid
Hart will start Thursday in New Jersey.

Hart allowed five goals on 29 shots (.828 SV%) for his second straight overtime loss in a defeat to the Arizona Coyotes in his previous start. The 24-year-old's stats have taken a hit as of late as the Flyers continue their downfall, posting an 8-8-6 record with his .909 SV% and a 2.84 GAA. He will try to get back in the Win column as he takes on the high-powered New Jersey Devils, who despite losing three straight, are sixth in the NHL in goals per game (3.59)>
