Jack Eichel has been placed on the injured reserve (lower body).

Eichel missed the Golden Knights' previous game due to a lower-body injury and was placed on the injured reserve Monday retroactive to Friday, meaning he will be out for at least the next two games. The 26-year-old was on pace to have his best season to date, with 13 goals, 29 points, 100 SOG and a +17 plus/minus through 27 games played prior to the injury.

Hill stopped 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%) as he snapped a three-game losing skid with a win over Detroit on Dec. 3rd. The Golden Knights backup has been solid this season with a 6-2-1 record, 2.55 GAA and .908 SV%. He faces the Philadelphia Flyers, who have dropped three of their last four games after a 4-1 loss to Washington on Wednesday.

Hart will start Friday in Vegas.

Hart allowed two goals on 25 shots (.920 SV%) and still managed to pick up his third loss in four starts as he lost to Washington in his previous start. The 24-year-old has been the lone Flyers' bright spot this season, with his .911 SV%, 2.79 GAA and 8-8-4 record. He draws the tough task of the Pacific Division-leading Vegas Golden Knights who are 10th in the NHL in shots per game with 32.4.

He takes on the Washington Capitals, who won their last game 3-2 over Edmonton but rank 27th in the NHL in goals per game (2.74).
