Hart will start Thursday in New Jersey.

Hart gave up six goals on 26 shots in the Flyers' loss in Boston last Saturday. Hart showed his frustration in the losing effort and comes into Thursday's game in New Jersey having lost three in a row while allowing a combined 14 goals on 91 shots (.846 SV%). It has been a struggled for Hart recently but he has a solid matchup vs. a Devils team averaging just 2.33 goals per game (26th) through their first six games.

Hart will start Thursday in Boston.

Hart was pulled after allowing four goals on 22 shots in the Flyers blowout loss to Buffalo on Monday. Even though he was pulled, the Flyers stuck with their plan of starting Brian Elliott on Tuesday, so Hart comes into Thursday's game refreshed after a couple days off. So far, he's gone 2-1-0 while allowing a combined nine goals on 89 shots (.899 SV%) and tonight he faces a Bruins team that still hasn't scored at even strength this season.

Hart will start Friday vs. the Penguins.

Hart was sharp in the Flyers season opener, stopping 31 of 34 shots in the Flyers win over the Penguins. With one day off in between games, it's not surprising that the Flyers will go back to the 22-year-old, who is now 2-1-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .929 SV% in his career vs. Pittsburgh.

Hart went 24-13-3 with a 2.42 GAA and .914 SV% in 43 appearances in 2020. The 22-year-old netminder has been steady in his first two years in the league, posting a .915 SV% but the Flyers are hoping he can take that next step in year-3 and push for a division win. He did not start vs. the Penguins a year ago but was a sparkling 20-3-2 with a 1.63 GAA and .943 SV% on home ice.

Eichel missed the first day of training game with an upper-body injury.

Eichel suffered an upper-body injury while training and was held off of the ice for the first day of training camp. The Sabres consider Eichel as day-to-day, so it doesn't sound like he will miss any games. In practice, Casey Mittelstadt skated on the top line as a placeholder for Eichel, cantering a line with Taylor Hall and Victor Olofsson on his wings.

The Coyotes have signed Adin Hill to a one-year, one-way contract extension worth $800K.

As of now, Hill is the Coyotes No.3 netminder but there's a chance that Antti Raanta is moved in the offseason. In 2020, Hill was 2-4-3 with a 2.62 GAA and .918 SV% in the NHL and 15-5-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .918 SV% at the AHL-level.

Stone (foot) is questionable to play Game 5 vs. the Stars.

Stone was labouring at the end of Game 4 after blocked a Joe Pavelski shot but was able to finish the game. On Sunday, head coach Pete DeBoer did not have an update on the winger, so consider him a game-time decision for Game 5. Stone has struggled offensively as of late, posting just one goal and one assist in his last six games.
