The Blues moved Pietrangelo to IR but did not announce how long he is expected to be out. The move to IR means that he will have to miss at least the next two games, but is eligible to play Saturday vs. the Jets. The Blues used his roster spot to call up Jordan Schmaltz.
Megna, 24, has one assist in 11 games with the Ducks this season and one assist in three games with San Diego. Megna has been recalled because Hampus Lindholm is questionable for tonight’s game due to an upper-body injury.
Theodore has sat as a healthy scratch in two of the first three games since being recalled from Chicago (AHL) but he will replace Brad Hunt in the lineup this afternoon. Theodore could be a sneaky fantasy add if he can carve out a large enough role in the Golden Knights offence.
After opening the season in the AHL, the Golden Knights finally cleared the way for Theodore to come up on Monday. He sat as a healthy scratch on vs. the Islanders, but will make his debut tonight in New York. The 22-year-old, former first round pick (No.26 overall) is expected to skate with Colin Miller and comes up after recording 11 points (5G / 6A) in eight AHL contests.
Theodore was only sent to the AHL to start the season because the Golden Knights had a ton of defensemen and he was one of the only players that was waiver exempt. Vegas has been working to clear a spot to bring him up and it looks like the time has finally arrived. Theodore has scored five goals with six assists (11 points) in eight AHL games and just might be the Golden Knights’ best defenseman.
Hill gave up five goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes loss to Dallas last Thursday. In his first two NHL starts, Hill has given up a combined seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). Tonight he will try and give the Coyotes their first win of the season as he faces a Rangers team sitting at 2.50 goals for per game so far this year.

It was a strong debut for the 21-year-old rookie netminder, earning him a second straight start to kick-off his NHL career. The Coyotes are still searching for their first win of the season, but will be in tough vs. the Stars again tonight.
Hill was a third-round pick (No.76 overall) in 2015 and tonight he is expected to make his NHL debut in Dallas. The 21-year-old netminder was 16-14-0 with a 3.16 GAA and .906 SV% in 40 AHL games last year and has stopped 30 of 31 shots (.968 SV%) this season. He is an extremely risky option vs. the Stars
