Samsonov is battling an injury and will likely be unavailable for at least the two games in Vegas' upcoming road trip. The 27-year-old Samsonov has a 2.95 GAA and .906 SV% in five games with Vegas this season (3-1-1). Expect Adin Hill to control the Golden Knights' crease in the interim.

Samsonov will start in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Samsonov will be back between the pipes on Wednesday after Adin Hill led the Golden Knights to a shutout victory over the Flames on Monday. Samsonov secured the victory his last time out, stopping 23 of the 26 shots he faced as Vegas defeated the Sharks by a score of 7-3. Samsonov is off to an impressive start to his Golden Knights tenure, posting a 3-0-1 record and a .932 SV% across four appearances. He'll look to keep things rolling in a tight matchup on Wednesday as Vegas enters action at -130 on the money line.

Brisson is expected to be a healthy scratch on Monday vs. Calgary.

Brisson has played the last five games for the Golden Knights but will return to being a healthy scratch as Cole Schwindt will draw back into the lineup. The 23-year-old Brisson had eight points (2G / 6A) in 15 games last season, his first taste of NHL action, but has been held off the scoresheet in six games this season.

Hill will start on Monday vs. Calgary.

The Golden Knights have not received adequate goaltending this season, allowing 3.1 goals per game, but their league-leading 4.9 goals per game have made up for any defensive deficiencies. Hill will start for the sixth time this season and look to improve on an unspectacular 3.85 GAA and .864 SV% through five games (3-2-0). The Golden Knights, riding a three-game winning streak, enter the action on Monday as -164 home favorites against the Calgary Flames.

Theodore (illness) will play on Friday vs. Ottawa.

Fresh off of signing a seven-year, $51.975 million contract extension ($7,425,000 AAV), Theodore will draw back into the Golden Knights' lineup after missing one game due to illness. The 29-year-old Theodore is off to a blistering start to the 2024-25 season, with seven points (1G / 6A), three on the powerplay, in six games.
