Hill will start on Friday vs. Ottawa.

After serving as the backup to Ilya Samsonov for the last two games, the Golden Knights will return to Adin Hill between the pipes on Friday against the Ottawa Senators. Despite a serviceable 2-2-0 record to start the season, the 28-year-old Hill has struggled, allowing three or more goals in all four of his contests, posting an ugly 3.81 GAA and .851 SV%. That said, the Golden Knights enter action on Friday as -125 home favorites against the Senators.

After a tremendous start to the 2024-25 season, scoring seven points (1G / 6A) in his first six games, Theodore has been rewarded with a seven-year, $51.975 million contract extension ($7.425 million AAV). The contract extension for the talented 29-year-old blue liner runs through 2031-32, Theodore's age 36 season. Theodore has battled some injuries the past several seasons, being limited to only 102 games but scoring 83 points (13G / 70A) in that span.

Karlsson (undisclosed) is expected to make his season debut on Saturday vs. San Jose.

Karlsson has not played yet this season after being injured late in the preseason. He has miss the first seven games of the season, will miss an eighth, but should make his season debut in game nine on Saturday against the San Jose Sharks. The 31-year-old Karlsson had 30 goals and 60 points in 70 games played in 2023-24.

Theodore (illness) returned to practice on Wednesday and is expected to be good for Friday vs. Ottawa.

Theodore was a late scratch ahead of Tuesday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings but returned to practice on Wednesday and should be ready to play on Friday against the Ottawa Senators. Noah Hanifin was on the top powerplay unit in Theodore's absence but will likely revert back to the secondary unit when Theodore returns to the lineup. The 29-year-old Theodore is off to a blistering start to the 2024-25 season, with seven points (1G / 6A), three on the powerplay, in six games.

Samsonov will start on Tuesday vs. Los Angeles.

The Golden Knights, winless in three straight (0-2-1), will turn to Samsonov between the pipes for the second consecutive game. Samsonov suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to the Florida Panthers on Saturday but performed admirably, peppered with 49 shots and saving 45 of them (.918 SV%). The 27-year-old Samsonov has a 2.41 GAA and .931 SV% in two games the season (1-0-1). The Golden Knights enter action on Tuesday as -125 home favorites against the Los Angeles Kings.

Karlsson (undisclosed) will not return on Tuesday but has a possibility on Friday vs. Ottawa.

Karlsson has not played yet this season after being injured late in the preseason. He has miss the first six games of the season and miss at least a seventh, but could return to the lineup on Friday against the Ottawa Senators. Pavel Dorofeyev has been the main benefactor in Olofsson's absence, finding himself on the top powerplay unit in Vegas.

Hill will start in Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Hill will make his fourth start of the season when the Golden Knights travel to Tampa Bay on Thursday. Hill struggled his last time out, allowing four goals on just 22 shots in a 4-2 defeat in Washington. The 28-year-old netminder has managed a 2-1-0 record for the young season despite not posting a SV% above .900 in any of his three starts. He'll have his hands full again on Thursday as Vegas enters action as +125 underdogs.

Brisson is expected to draw back into Vegas' lineup on Thursday in Tampa Bay.

With Victor Olofsson expected to miss Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning due to a lower-body injury, Brisson will draw back into the lineup. The 22-year-old Brisson was held off the scoresheet in his only game this season. He had eight points (2G / 6A) in 15 games last season.

Schwindt was the 81st overall pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and has spent most of his professional career thus far in the AHL. Last season, he scored 36 points (14G / 22A) in 66 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). He will draw into the lineup in favour of Brendan Brisson.
