Stone missed Saturday’s game vs. the Penguins, but he is expected to be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Canucks. If Stone is ready to go go, he will replace Milan Michalek who is out with an upper-body injury.
Stone did not travel with the team to Pittsburgh, so he will be replaced by Zack Smith today vs. the Penguins. Stone is considered day-to-day.
Stone must have suffered an undisclosed injury in the Senators loss to the Islanders on Thursday. Puck-drop is at 1 PM ET so there will be no morning skate, so monitor his status prior warmups.
Karlsson has not played in the last three games due to illness, but had a strong showing in 16 games with the Ducks during his call-up. He had two goals, one assist, a plus-3 rating and 24shots.

Hertl picked up one assist with a plus-1 rating and three shots in the Sharks’ 4-1 loss to the Panthers last night. He was moved up to the first line prior to yesterday’s game, but only played 13:38 which means he was likely bumped down midway through the contest. He is back on the third line this morning, so expect him to stay there to start Thursday’s game in Tampa Bay.
Matthew Nieto has not scored since opening night and has been held pointless in his last three games so Tomas Hertl will replace him on the top line tonight vs. the Panthers. After a sensational rookie season prior to his knee injury, Hertl’s seven points (3G / 4A) has too be disappointing for fantasy investors. But, he gets a chance tonight to make an impact and hopefully stay on that top line.
Theodore, 19, has three goals and two assists in five games with Norfolk this season. He has been recalled because there is some uncertainty surrounding blue liners Cam Fowler (lower-body) and Francois Beauchemin (flu) availability for Sunday’s game. The 26th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft could be in line to make his NHL debut tonight.
Hertl is struggling out of the gate having posted just two goals and one assist in 12 games. Tonight Barclay Goodrow will move up and Hertl will skate on the fourth line. He should remain on your bench until his production comes back.
Saad, who has just one goal in the first nine games of the season, played just 15:08 on Tuesday and is skating on Chicago's fourth line with Marcus Kruger and Ben Smith this morning. It has been a rough start for the 22-year-old, who's value certainly takes a hit when he is not playing none of the Blackhawks premier players (Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa and Richards).
After a breakout season (20G / 31A) in 2013-14, Smith has just two goals and two assists through 11 games this season, despite playing slightly more and his shooting percentage (13.3%) remaining in-line with last season. The 23-year-old is a good scorer, but he will have to work his way back into the top-6 to be a consistent fantasy contributor.
The Sharks have shaken up all of their forwards lines ahead of tonight's game in Boston. One of the moves has Hertl going to the third line to play with James Sheppard and Andrew Desjardins, which is obviously a huge downgrade from Joe Thornton. Hertl has two goals and a plus-4 rating through six games.
Karlsson was the Ducks second round pick (53rd overall) in 2011.The 21-year-old skated on the Ducks third line between Jakob Silfverberg and Andrew Cogliano today and could replace Rickard Rakell in the lineup on Saturday. Karlsson had 15 goals and 22 assists (37 points) in 55 games in Sweden last season and nine points (2G / 7A) in nine games in the AHL after coming to North America.
All signs are pointing towards Jake Muzzin being unavailable tonight, which leaves the 23-year-old McNabb to make his Kings' debut on the Stanley Cup banner raising night and on the top D-pair with Drew Doughty to boot. McNabb was acquired from the Sabres at last year's deadline and totaled 10 goals and 26 assists (36 points) in 52 AHL games between Manchester and Rochester. He failed to record any points in 12 games with the Sabres.
Smith, 23, was originally considered a 'throw-in' in the Tyler Seguin trade, but showed that he is much more than that. He had 20 goals and 31 assists (51 points) in 82 games in his debut season with the Bruins. Smith will be an even more important part of the Bruins' top-6 this season after the departure of Jarome Iginla.
The Ducks' first round pick in 2013 suffered the injury in Sunday’s futures game. The 19-year-old defenseman had an outstanding season in the WHL last year, posting 22 goals and 57 assists (79 points) in 70 games. He led the Seattle Thunderbirds in points by 16 while playing on the blueline. He had an outside chance of making the Ducks' roster but was likely going to be left off the team because of Anaheim's great depth at the position.
The Blues will rest Pietrangelo this afternoon vs. the Red WIngs. They are already battling a ton of injuries, so won't risk any more key players getting hurt.
Hertl has not played since December 19, when he suffered the injury on a hit by the Kings’ Dustin Brown. In 35 games, Hertl has 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points, playing primarily on the left wing of Joe Thornton and Brent Burns. Hertl was originally expected to miss the rest of the regular season, but he will be back for the final home game of the season and playoffs.

Sissons had one goal and three assists in 17 games with the Predators. With Paul Gaustad returning to the Predators lineup on Saturday, Sissons has been returned to the AHL.
