Oshie (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's game vs. Florida and is without a timetable to return.

Oshie had to be helped off the ice after suffering a non-contact lower-body injury. Head coach Spencer Carbery said that his level of concern for Oshie's injury was "fairly high" and added that he'll be evaluated on Friday. Expect the Capitals to release a detailed timeline in the coming days.

Lindgren will start on Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Lindgren will start for the second straight game on Thursday night. The 30-year-old netminder was excellent in Washington's last contest, saving 37 of 39 shots (.949 SV%) in a 6-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils. The Capitals are riding a two-game winning streak and are +174 road underdogs against the Tampa Bay Lightning, losers of two straight.

Dowd (upper body) left Tuesday's game early and will miss practice Wednesday as he continues to be evaluated.

Dowd played only 6:20 time-on-ice before exiting Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury. Before his injury, Dowd was riding a season-best three-game point streak, scoring three points (1G / 2A). The Devils return to action on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Bear is expected to draw back into Washington's lineup on Tuesday vs. New Jersey.

Bear played four straight games for the Capitals before being a healthy scratch on Saturday but will return to the lineup on Tuesday night. In his last four games, Bear has zero points, one shot, and five hits while averaging less than 14 minutes of time-on-ice.

Ethan Bear
Lindgren will start on Tuesday vs. New Jersey.

Lindgren will return to the crease on Tuesday night in a divisional matchup against the New Jersey Devils. Lindgren allowed four goals on 35 shots (.886 SV%) in his last outing and has been inconsistent lately after a great start to the season. The 30-year-old netminder has one win in his last six games (1-4-1), a shutout, but has allowed three or more goals in the other five contests, posting an ugly .866 SV%. The Capitals enter action as +148 home underdogs against the Devils.

Thompson will start on Monday vs. San Jose.

Thompson has played only once in the last seven games but will return to the crease on Monday in a favourable matchup against the low-scoring San Jose Sharks. In his last two outings (0-1-1), Thompson has allowed 10 goals on 66 shots (.848 SV%). The Golden Knights enter action on Monday as -271 home favourites and will attempt to snap a two-game losing skid.

Logan Thompson
Raddysh (right quad) missed practice and will be a game-time decision on Saturday vs. Ottawa.

Raddysh missed practice on Friday due to a right quad injury and will be a game-time decision on Saturday as Chicago hosts Ottawa. The 25-year-old winger is having an incredibly disappointing 2023-24 season, with five goals, 11 points, 83 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 49 games played. If he is able to go, he will take his usual spot on Chicago's third line and 2nd powerplay unit.

Taylor Raddysh
Beauvillier (broken wrist) was on the ice for the first time in full contact practice on Friday and is nearing a return.

Beauvillier has been out of the lineup since the beginning of January but appears to be nearing a return to the Blackhawks' lineup with the possibility of returning on Monday. Beauvillier had scored six points (2G / 4A) in 15 games since joining the Blackhawks.

Anthony Beauvillier
Milano (upper body) is expected to return on Saturday in Montreal.

Milano has not played since December 10th, missing 27 games with an upper-body injury, but appears to be ready for a return to the lineup on Saturday. Milano had been held to only one point (1G / 0A) in his last nine games before his injury, firing only six shots on goal and averaging 11:19 time-on-ice.

Sonny Milano
Lindgren will start on Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Lindgren snapped a four-game losing streak over the weekend and will return to the crease on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old Lindgren was sensational on Saturday, saving all 18 shots he faced in a 3-0 win over the Boston Bruins, giving him a career-high three shutouts this season. That said, the Capitals are +155 home underdogs on Tuesday, matching up poorly against the second-best offensive team in the league, the Colorado Avalanche (3.66 GF / GP).
