Lindgren will start for the Canadiens on Friday.

Lindgren stopped all 33 shots that he faced in the Canadiens shootout loss to the Flyers on Monday. It was a tough loss for Lindgren, who was excellent in his first NHL start since late-November. He has played very well in nine NHL starts this season, going 3-4-2 with a 2.13 GAA, .933 SV% and two shutouts. He makes for a solid option against an Islanders team that has lost four in a row (0-3-1).
