Islanders rookie forward Nino Niederreiter left during the first period of Saturday's match against the Stars with concussion-like symptoms, the team announced.
Niederreiter took a hard and clean hit from Stars defender Mark Fistric and is now out indefinitely. At this point you are likely safe to drop the young forward in one-year leagues.

Toews contributed a pair of multi-goal efforts in the past week, including Sunday's 6-3 win against the Oilers. His second goal in the opening minute of the second period proved to be the game-winner. Toews has a three-game points streak going, compiling 4 goals and 2 assists over that span.
