Kahkonen will start Thursday vs. the Ducks.

With Mackenzie Blackwood sidelined for the next one to two weeks due to an injury, Kahkonen will be a mainstay between the pipes for the Sharks. Kahkonen had a forgettable performance on Tuesday, entering the game in relief of Mackenzie Blackwood, allowing seven goals on 31 shots (.774 SV%) in a 7-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils. The Sharks are +113 home underdogs against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

Hellebuyck will start in Chicago on Friday.

Hellebuyck had the night off in Winnipeg's 6-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday but will return to the crease on Friday in a favourable matchup against the low-scoring Chicago Blackhawks (2.09 GF / GP). Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 33 shots (.848 SV%) in his last contest but was playing excellent hockey leading up to that, saving 87 of 90 shots (.967 SV%) during a three-game winning streak. The Jets enter action on Friday as sizeable -275 road favourites.

Ehlers (undisclosed) is dealing with a nagging injury and will be a game-time decision on Friday vs. Chicago.

Ehlers recorded an assist on Monday but has been limited to only three points (0G / 3A) in his last 10 games. If the Danish forward can't compete on Friday, look for Nino Niederreiter or Alex Iaffolo to jump into his position on the second line, although Winnipeg has stated they do expect him to be in the lineup.

Phillips will draw back into the Blackhawks' lineup on Wednesday vs. Philadelphia.

Louis Crevier will be out of the lineup on Wednesday due to an upper-body injury, allowing Phillips to draw back in. Phillips has been out of the lineup for the last three games and had one point (0G / 1A), a -3 plus/minus, and 10 hits in five games before that.

Hellebuyck will start on Monday in Calgary.

Hellebuyck will start for the fourth straight game on Monday afternoon against the Calgary Flames. After a slight blip in an otherwise nearly perfect 2023-24 campaign, losing three straight, Hellebuyck has rebounded by winning three straight and allowing only four total goals. Hellebuyck was outstanding in his last outing, saving 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 4-2 win over the typically high-scoring Vancouver Canucks.

Comrie (illness) will not dress for Monday's matinee vs. Anaheim.

Comrie has played only once in the last several months, on February 15th, and it was due to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen being sidelined with an injury. The Sabres have recalled Dustin Tokarski to back-up Luukkonen on Monday afternoon.
