Vilardi (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision Monday in Boston.

After being unavailable for Sunday's practice, Vilardi participated in the Jets' morning skate on Monday and will be a game-time decision ahead of their game against the Boston Bruins. Vilardi has three goals and has fired 15 shots on goal in his last five games.

Hellebuyck will start Monday vs. Boston.

After suffering his first loss in five games, Hellebucyk has bounced back, winning two straight and saving 69 of 72 shots (.958 SV). Hellebuyck has undoubtedly been the best goalie in the NHL over the last two months, allowing more than two goals only once in 21 games (16-3-2) while posting an absurd .944 SV%. Hellebucyk and the Jets will be thoroughly tested on Monday as +118 road underdogs against an Atlantic Division-leading Boston Bruins club riding a four-game winning streak.

Miller (illness) will be out Monday vs. Vegas.

Miller completed Saturday's game against the Dallas Stars, tallying three shots, two hits, and a -2 plus/minus in 17:30 time-on-ice, but will be unable to play on Monday due to an illness. Miller had played nine straight games for the Devils, scoring four points (2G / 2A) in the process.

Scheifele will not play against the Bruins on Monday and is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Jets head coach Rick Bowness did say the plan was for Scheifele to resume skating ahead of Wednesday's game in Toronto, though his status for that game remains up in the air. Scheifele has been replaced on the top line by Adam Lowry, who will have a tough time replacing Scheifele's production. Before his injury, Scheifele had five points (2G / 3A) while riding a four-game point streak.

The Sabres have loaned Eric Comrie to Rochester (AHL).

Comrie served as Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen's backup on Saturday while Devon Levi got some game action in the AHL. With the Sabres set to leave for a California road trip, Comrie returns to Rochester, and Levi is back with the Sabres. Comrie has gone 2-1-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .951 SV% in three AHL games since clearing waivers.

Scheifele (lower body) will remain out Saturday and will be reevaluated on Monday.

Originally believed to be a possibility on Saturday, Scheifele will remain out of the lineup through the weekend and possibly beyond, as he has not resumed skating yet. Scheifele has been replaced on the top line by Adam Lowry, who will have a tough time replacing Scheifele's production as, before his injury, he had five points (2G / 3A) while riding a four-game point streak.

Hellebuyck will start against the Islanders on Tuesday.

Hellebuyck was between the pipes in the Jets last game, a 2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, ending their season-best eight-game winning streak. Despite the loss, Hellebucyk, as per usual, was terrific, saving 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%), continuing his tremendous season, and extending his 19-game stretch (14-3-2) where he has allowed fewer than three goals in all but one contest. The Jets will welcome back Kyle Connor on Tuesday and are -193 home favourites against a New York Islanders team that was defeated 5-0 by the Minnesota Wild last night.

Scheifele (lower-body) will be placed on IR on Tuesday but could be back on Saturday.

Scheifele's injury does not appear overly concerning, but he has been placed on the injured reserve and will be out of the lineup until at least Sunday. Before his injury, Scheifele had five points (2G / 3A) while riding a four-game point streak. The Jets' depleted offence will get a boost on Tuesday as they welcome Kyle Connor Back from a five-week absence due to a knee injury.

Mark Scheifele
Vilardi (illness) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday but is expected to play.

Vilardi is battling an illness, but the Jets anticipate he will be ready to play on Tuesday evening against the New York Islanders. Vilardi has three points (1G / 2A) in his last four games along with 13 shots on goal.

Gabriel Vilardi
Connor (knee) will be back in the Jets lineup on Tuesday.

Connor has been out of the lineup since December 10th, missing 16 games with a knee injury, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. Connor will provide an offensive boost for a Jets team, without Mark Scheifele (lower-body), that saw their season-best eight-game winning streak come to a halt in their last contest, a 2-0 shutout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Before his injury, Connor had 28 points (17G / 11A) and 102 shots on goal in 26 games.

Kahkonen will start Monday in Buffalo.

Kahkonen hasn't played since allowing four goals on 20 shots (.800 SV%) in a 7-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last week, his only start in the last five for the Sharks. He will return to the crease on Monday afternoon as the Sharks are +228 road underdogs against a Buffalo Sabres team that was shutout 1-0 against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
