The 30-year-old workhorse goaltender is entering his ninth NHL season with Winnipeg and has a 238-154-37 record with a career .916 SV% and 2.66 GAA.

Mark Scheifele has signed a seven-year, $59.5 million contract extension ($8,500,000 AAV).

Scheifele had 42 goals, 26 assists, 43 PIMs, 206 SOG, and a -16 plus/minus through 81 games played in 2022-23 and has now signed a seven-year, $59.5 million contract extension ($8,500,000 AAV). The 30-year-old Jets captain is entering his 13th NHL season (all with Winnipeg) and has 272 goals and 645 points in 723 career games played.

Mark Scheifele
Isaak Phillips has been assigned to Rockford (AHL) to start the 2023-24 season.

Phillips was poised to make the Blackhawks for opening night but has been assigned to the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) for the start of the 2023-24 campaign. The 22-year-old was Chicago's 2020 fifth-round pick (141st overall) and had a goal, four assists, five PIMs, and a -10 plus/minus in a short 16-game showing in 2022-23. He returns to Rockford where he also had six goals and 23 assists in 51 games last season.

Isaak Phillips
Ville Heinola has suffered a fractured ankle and is expected to miss approximately 8-12 weeks.

Heinola suffered a fractured ankle in the Jets' final preseason game and is now expected to miss anywhere from eight to 12 weeks. It is a big loss for Winnipeg's back six as the 22-year-old was entering his fifth season with the Jets after producing an assist, five SOG and a -5 plus/minus through 10 games in 2022-23. He has one goal and 10 assists across 35 career games played in the NHL but has never appeared in more than 12 for the Jets in any one season.

Ville Heinola
Nashville has claimed Samuel Fagemo off waivers from Los Angeles.

Fagemo had two goals, an assist, five SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through nine games with Los Angeles in 2022-23 and has been claimed off waivers by Nashville from the Kings. The 23-year-old left-winger played the majority of last season in the minors with the Ontario Reign (AHL) and had an impressive 23 goals, 32 points and a -24 plus/minus through 56 games last season. He was Los Angeles' 2019 second-round pick (50th overall).

Samuel Fagemo
Winnipeg has agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with Colby Barlow worth $3.6 million ($1,200,000 AAV).

Barlow was drafted by the Jets in the 2023 first-round (18th overall) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Winnipeg worth $3.6 million ($1,200,000 AAV). The 18-year-old left-winger had an exceptional season captaining the Owen Sound Attack (OHL) as he picked up 46 goals, 33 assists, 29 PIMs and a +14 plus/minus through 59 games played. He is expected to return to Owen Sound for the 2023-24 season but will have a chance to make an impact in Jets camp.

Colby Barlow
The Canadiens have acquired Tanner Pearson and a 2025 third-round pick from the Canucks for Casey DeSmith.

Pearson had one goal, four assists, 17 SOG, 21 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus through 14 games with Vancouver in 2022-23 and has been traded to Montreal alongside a 2025 third-round pick for Casey DeSmith. The 31-year-old left-winger carries a cap hit of $3,250,000 into the 2023-24 season and has 133 goals and 272 points across 590 career games for three different organizations (LAK, PIT, VAN).

Tanner Pearson
Winnipeg has signed Logan Stanley to a one-year, $1 million contract extension.

Stanley had a goal, two assists, 11 SOG, 21 PIMs, and a -1 plus/minus through 19 games played with Winnipeg in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, $1 million contract extension with the Jets. The 25-year-old defenseman was Winnipeg's 2016 1st round pick (18th overall) and has three goals, 20 points, 91 PIMs, and a +13 plus/minus through three NHL seasons and 114 career games.

Logan Stanley
Winnipeg has signed Rasmus Kupari to a two-year, $2 million contract extension ($1,000,000 AAV).

Kupari had three goals, 12 assists, 53 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 66 games with Los Angeles in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year, $2 million contract ($1,000,000 AAV) with the Winnipeg Jets. The 23-year-old centre's rights were a key piece alongside Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo and a 2024 second-round pick in the trade that saw Pierre-Luc Dubois head to Los Angeles. In three NHL seasons he has nine goals, 29 points and 112 SOG through 130 career games played.

Winnipeg has signed Gabriel Vilardi to a two-year, $6.875 million contract.

Vilardi broke out in 2022-23 with Los Angeles scoring 23 goals, 18 assists, 122 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 63 games and has signed a two-year, $6.875 million contract extension with Winnipeg. The 23-year-old centre was a key piece in the deal which saw Pierre-Luc Dubois head to Los Angeles. Vilardi was a 2017 1st round pick (11th overall) and has 41 goals, 78 points and 247 SOG through 152 career NHL games.

Winnipeg has signed Morgan Barron to a two-year, $2.7 million contract extension ($1,350,000 AAV).

Barron had eight goals, 13 assists, 112 SOG, 31 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 70 games in 2022-23 with Winnipeg and has avoided arbitration by signing a two-year, $2.7 million contract extension ($1,350,000 AAV) with the Jets. The 24-year-old centre was a sixth-round pick in 2017 (174th overall) with the New York Rangers and has 11 goals and 27 points across 102 games played in his career.

Los Angeles has signed Samuel Fagemo to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV.

Fagemo had two goals, an assist, five SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through nine games with Los Angeles in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV. The 23-year-old was the Kings 2019 second-round pick (50th overall) and has played 13 games in the NHL over the last two seasons.

The 33-year-old right-winger is entering his 12th NHL season with his fifth team, collecting 165 goals and 428 points across 703 games played.

Winnipeg has signed Dylan Samberg to a two-year, $2.8 million contract extension ($1,400,000 AAV).

Samberg had two goals, six assists, 49 SOG, 25 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 63 games played with Winnipeg in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year, $2.8 million contract extension ($1,400,000 AAV). The 24-year-old defenseman was Winnipeg's 2017 second round pick (43rd overall) and has 11 points (2G/9A) in 78 career games played.

Dylan Samberg
Winnipeg has agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with Domenic DiVincentiis.

DiVeincentiis was 36-9-2 with a .919 SV% and 2.33 GAA with Brampton (OHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract Wednesday with Winnipeg. The 19-year-old goaltender was Winnipeg's 2022 seventh-round pick (#207 overall) and is expected to return to Brampton for his third OHL season in 2023-24.

Domenic DiVincentiis
Buffalo has re-signed Kale Clague to a one-year, two-way contract extension ($775,000 AAV).

Clague split his time between the NHL and AHL during the 2023 season. During his time with the Sabres, the 25-year-old defenseman had four assists in 33 games while averaging a modest 15:06 TOI/gm. Given the additions of Connor Clifton and Erik Johnson in free agency, Clague seems destined to start the 2024 season in the AHL.

The Jets signed Vladislav Namestnikov to a two-year, $4.0 million contract ($2.0M AAV).

Namestnikov had eight goals, 17 assists, 108 SOG, 35 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 77 games played in 2022-23 with both Tampa Bay and Winnipeg and has signed a two-year, $4.0 million contract ($2.0M AAV) extension with the Jets. The 30-year-old veteran centre has 261 points (115G/146A) through 630 NHL games played.

Vladislav Namestnikov
The Devils have acquired Colin Miller from the Stars for a 2025 fifth-round pick.

Miller had six goals, 21 points, 106 SOG, 37 PIMs and a +23 plus/minus through 79 games played with Dallas in 2022-23 and has been traded to New Jersey for a 2025 fifth-round pick. The 30-year-old defeneseman enters his ninth NHL season with joins his fifth team in the Devils having accumulated 35 goals and 157 points across 466 games played.

Colin Miller
